Our distinctly American twist on a classic Belgian-style farmhouse ale takes its name from the notoriously unpredictable fermenter, where this signature beer's perfect combination of ingredients first came to life. You could call it fate. Our brewers called it Tank 7. This beautifully complex, straw-colored ale starts with a surge of fruity aromatics and big grapefruit hoppy notes, before tapering to a dry, peppery, lingering finish.

Come home to La Maison, our “house” ale and tribute to the French farmhouse style. This sparkling saison features clover honey blended with earthy undertones and fragrant notes of citrus, grapefruit and pine. Enjoy a sip of the summer season any time of year with this refreshing ale.

COLETTE is our homage to the saisons that Belgian farm workers have enjoyed for centuries. Brewed with barley, wheat and rice and fermented at high temperatures with a special blend of four different yeast strains, COLETTE is fruity and slightly tart, with a dry finish that makes it that rarest of treats — a beer as refreshing as it is complex.

Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

A blended barrel-aged Wild Saison with a funky fresh taste of white grapes and lemon tarts… you’ll want to bathe your mouth with it.

Slightly sweet fruity nose, hints of grass and coriander, smooth underlying bitterness, clean dry finish, smooth lingering citrus notes.

Sake-style saison brewed with Citra, Hallertau Blanc and Sterling.

It's our Hibiscus sour Saison, with approximately one buttload (ok not quite) of Raspberries added. It's quite delicious.

Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in wine barrels with orange peel, Sofie is a tart, dry, sparkling ale. A subtle, spicy white pepper note, a hint of citrus from the orange peel and a creamy vanilla finish make Sofie an intriguing choice for Champagne drinkers and beer drinkers who are fond of Belgian Saisons.

It’s no secret that we love hops at Tallgrass. But it’s not always about beers with huge hop flavor; sometimes we use hops in a more subtle fashion.We also use the dry-hopping process in a more delicate beer like Songbird Saison to create a refreshing Belgian-style ale where apricot and lemon flavors mingle with fresh-cracked pepper and citrus notes. A classical saison, brewed with all pilsner malt and Saaz hops, and a blend of Saison yeast from two Belgian breweries.

Brewed with whole juniper bushes, farmhouse ale yeast (brettanomyces) and a touch of smoke. Like a Viking Saison, yeah.

Brewed with Pilsner, CaraVienne, and Rye malts, plus Magnum and Spalter hops. But the driving force behind this beer is the contribution from whole Black, Green, White, and Pink peppercorns. Added to the brewkettle, these four fab peppercorns harmonize with spicy hops while the malted rye and our Belgian yeast hold down the backbeat.

Ocean Bluff is our Belgian inspired saison. Inherently local by style, we decided to keep it local when choosing the name Ocean Bluff. We sourced 100% of the grain bill from local maltster @stonepathmalt who are just a short drive down route 3 in Wareham.

This beer is different from other domestic saisons because it is less hoppy and does not use the Dupont yeast strain or a similar strain. Our Belgian yeast strain produces fruity and spicy notes along with some tartness and is a strong attenuator. Saison is a very diverse style and we wanted a beer that was refreshing but still had a complex flavor profile. Malt, unmalted wheat, hops, and yeast all make a noticeable contribution to this beer. The flaked wheat also gives this beer some body since it has a low finishing gravity. Hops are used in moderate amounts to provide good hop flavor and aroma without overwhelming bitterness or harshness.

In the summer of 1997, Deep Blue, a computer designed by IBM, defeated the world champion chess player Garry Kasparov at his own game. This was the first time a master of his craft had been beaten by artificial intelligence. In the summer of 1999, a totally unrelated yet similarly disturbing advancement in technology struck again when the Hollywood classic Deep Blue Sea proved even Samuel L. Jackson was no match for those motherf@#$ing A.I. sharks. We pay our respects to these victims of technology with a funky twist on a farmhouse favorite. Our saison has a strong blueberry nose accompanied by a classic Belgian aroma. Dry and crisp, a sweet blueberry flavor takes over, accented by a slight tart ending. Gizmo’s summer beer pairs perfectly with hot days, warm nights, chess matches, and sailing in shark infested waters.

Moody Ales is proud of our homebrewing roots - that's why we regularily serve beers inspired by local homebrew recipes in our tasting room. When local homebrewer Steve Sheldon shared his Lemon Matcha Saison with us, we knew we had to share it with as many beer lovers as we could. A dry-hopped saison brewed with our friends at Solemn Oath Brewery in Naperville, Illinois. This beer is hopped exclusively with Ella for resilient flavors of grapefruit, guava, spice, and star anise. Each sip is full of floral, dry, and effervescent character, but low enough in alcohol to keep things chill. Named in reverence of the dearly departed Barbara Holland of Stranger Things. This beer is brewed to commemorate the memory of Horatio's great aunt Henrietta, for whom he had an unexpected soft spot. She had a way with words and a way with people, in the sense that being terrible at something still qualifies as a "way." But nevertheless, her ungainly departure was the source of much consternation for dear Horatio, who felt that the insouciant drowning of his myriad sorrows in a ludicrous purple imbibement would most behoove.
