Lunch is a special whale that has been spotted off the Maine coast since 1982. She has what looks like a bite taken out of her fin, which adds to her unique character. We dedicate this beer to her determination and persistence. Keep on swimming!

Our first run at an American Pale Ale. Flavors and aromas of zesty citrus, passionfruit, and pine present themselves throughout. A very subtle malt sweetness for balance, but this is intended to finish dry.

Smashed Pumpkin is a big-bodied beer with a light coppery orange color and pleasing aroma of pumpkin and nutmeg. The OG and final Alc./Vol. provide the structure and body. Pale Ale, Wheat and Light Munich Malts combine with the natural tannin in pumpkin and the delicate spiciness of Willamette and Hallertau Hops to balance the sweetness of the fruit. To fully enjoy all the flavors, this ale is best drunk at 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Smashed Pumpkin pairs well with sharp cheeses, nuts, lamb, hearty stews and desserts like flan or pumpkin pie. Chefs find this an excellent beer to cook with in dishes such as braised short ribs.

A beautifully aromatic and balanced milk stout with delicious notes of peanut butter, coffee, and dark chocolate. This dark, mythical beer nods to the long-passed legends of our region’s seafarers.

First brewed back in 2004, Curieux was our initial foray into barrel aging. To make Curieux, we take our Tripel and let it age in bourbon barrels for seven weeks. Once that time is up, we take the beer out of our cold cellars and blend it back with a portion of fresh Tripel. The resulting rich, golden ale features smooth notes of coconut, vanilla, and a hint of bourbon.

After a few years of home brewing in our garage, my brother and I decided we should open a brewery so that we could share our beer. In 2009 we started with a one barrel system and worked on a single recipe, over and over, until Peeper was born. And now we have enough to share. Cheers!

A carefully selected arrangement of late-addition hops produce a pure citrus punch. 0% fruit. Fresh, never frozen. Not from concentrate.

This golden ale carries notes of passion fruit and honey in the aroma. A suggestion of biscuit is found in the beer's varied palate. Brewed with our 2-row barley blend, hopped with Nugget and Hallertau, then fermented on our house yeast, Tripel offers up a complex, yet dry finish.

A unique India Pale Ale showcasing our favorite hops. The Amarillo Simcoe and Nugget hops give this beer a bounty of hop flavor and aroma without too much bitterness in the finish.

A companion to backyards, backwoods, and balconies alike. River Trip is a Belgian-style session ale with hop-forward grapefruit and stone fruit notes. It’s brewed in the table beer style with local grains and spiced with coriander for an extra hint of citrus. Dry hopping with Comet and Azacca contributes to the mix of melon and grapefruit notes in the beer’s aroma. Low-ABV and available in 16 oz. cans: so it’s good for any adventure.

Like a clear night lit by stars, this silky Belgian-inspired stout balances light notes of fruit and sweetness with roasty malt.

When we expanded our brewery in 2013, the stress was something, to say the least. I ran out of creative juice for a minute so I decided to have another one for inspiration.

Fresh Cut is a dry-hopped pilsner. Chinook, Citra and Centennial hops provide aromas of citrus, grass and spice. Though the front palate is loud with IPA qualities, the finish is distinctly pilsner- crisp, dry and extremely refreshing. Enjoy!

We brewed this special IPA to commemorate the establishment of the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument. We incorporated Maine-grown barley and wheat, along with generous amounts of hops with flavors and aromas of pine and citrus, reminiscent of the outdoors. a tiny beautiful something showcases a new hop variety, El Dorado. We started playing around with this hop last year. We brewed a pilot batch with this hop exclusively and one with it blended with some of our other favorite Northwest varieties. In the end, we decided that the El Dorado had such a unique and interesting character on its own, so we decided to brew it as a “single hop” pale ale. The aroma and flavor offer intense candied orange and citrus zest. A touch of flaked oats provide a rounded, silky mouthfeel. And like our other hoppy offerings, tiny was brewed to finish dry and clean.

There is a much debate in the brewing world about the difference between porters and stouts. At one time the two were even considered synonyms. Nowadays porters are often more malted, while stouts tend to be more roasted in flavor. When we decided to add a dark beer to our repertoire we chose to pursue the rich, chocolate tones of a porter. This ale continues to gather accolades in the beer world for its strong malt backbone and well-balanced, bitter hops.

We indulged in our desire to create an IPA that personifies the vivid flavors that can be coaxed from the hop cone, painted on a canvas of soft malt that allows the flavors to shine through. Extensively hopped in the kettle and in the fermentor, we spared nothing in making this beer. Epiphany was designed to showcase the glorious flavor and aromatics of hops without any astringent bitterness. Citrus, tropical fruit and pine blend to provide you with a sublimely juicy hop experience.

Shipyard Summer Ale is a traditional American wheat beer. With its inviting color and mellow malted wheat flavor, it’s sure to please those looking for a clean, cool taste sensation on long, hot summer days.

FPA is a farmhouse ale brewed exclusively with American-grown hops.

Technically, there is no such thing as a traditional Belgian stout, but we went ahead and made one anyway. In creating the beer, we took the aspects we loved in Belgian beers and used them to craft a stout. We brew Allagash Black with 2-row barley, torrified wheat, oats, roasted barley, chocolate malt, black malt and hop with Northern Brewer and Glacier. A generous portion of dark caramelized candi sugar produces a hint of raisin in the finished beer. The addition of oats lends Black a silky mouthfeel, which is enhanced by rich flavors of coffee and dark chocolate.

Our American-style stout aged on organic vanilla beans. Intense notes of coffee and dark chocolate lead way to subtle notes of natural vanilla. Flaked oats generate a silky mouthfeel.

Our Cranberry Island Cocktail features Maine Craft Distilling’s BLACK CAP Vodka and New England Cranberry and Lime Juice.

You’ll find refreshment wherever there’s a Little Grove. This sparkling session ale is fermented with peaches and blended with kombucha for the perfect balance of light, tart, and bright flavor.

If Dave’s not in the office, he’s out on a cycling adventure. And he’s almost certainly drinking a beer afterwards. We don’t know why biking and beer go together so well, but they just do. We brewed this session IPA as a refreshing post ride snack with notes and aromas of tropical fruits, citrus, mixed berries, and grassy pine. Cheers to every ride!

Half Light is a saison brewed with 100% Maine ingredients and fermented with a blend of traditional saison yeast and brettanomyces. Cascade hops from The Hop Yard in Gorham Maine provide a fresh layer of pear flavor alongside a very wheat heavy grain bill. A fruity funk develops quickly in the bottle to add even more complexity. Enjoy fresh or with some age(1-2yrs).

Bright Crisp with a hint of citrus on the nose. This gives way to subtle but present hops on the mid palate. The balance of the beer shows itself off with the finish. It has a lingering fresh fresh citrus with just a touch of bitterness that brings you right back to another sip!!

Cuvée d’Industrial is comprised of a blend of twenty-four select barrels from our wild beer cellar. Our Brewmaster chose each barrel based on the specific characteristics it would bring to the blend. Barrel types used in this blend include: chestnut, port, rum, aquavit, American oak, Sauternes, and red wine. The resulting beer features aromas as diverse as apple, grape, caramel, and clove. Its flavors of biscuit, slight mocha, and cinnamon all come together with clean acidity—thanks to the mixture of Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus, Pediococcus, and Saccharomyces that collectively made this beer’s creation possible.
