Our distinctly American twist on a classic Belgian-style farmhouse ale takes its name from the notoriously unpredictable fermenter, where this signature beer's perfect combination of ingredients first came to life. You could call it fate. Our brewers called it Tank 7. This beautifully complex, straw-colored ale starts with a surge of fruity aromatics and big grapefruit hoppy notes, before tapering to a dry, peppery, lingering finish.

Come home to La Maison, our “house” ale and tribute to the French farmhouse style. This sparkling saison features clover honey blended with earthy undertones and fragrant notes of citrus, grapefruit and pine. Enjoy a sip of the summer season any time of year with this refreshing ale.

COLETTE is our homage to the saisons that Belgian farm workers have enjoyed for centuries. Brewed with barley, wheat and rice and fermented at high temperatures with a special blend of four different yeast strains, COLETTE is fruity and slightly tart, with a dry finish that makes it that rarest of treats — a beer as refreshing as it is complex.

Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

A blended barrel-aged Wild Saison with a funky fresh taste of white grapes and lemon tarts… you’ll want to bathe your mouth with it.

Slightly sweet fruity nose, hints of grass and coriander, smooth underlying bitterness, clean dry finish, smooth lingering citrus notes.

Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in wine barrels with orange peel, Sofie is a tart, dry, sparkling ale. A subtle, spicy white pepper note, a hint of citrus from the orange peel and a creamy vanilla finish make Sofie an intriguing choice for Champagne drinkers and beer drinkers who are fond of Belgian Saisons.

Perfectly balanced and moderately sweet with light citrus notes and a distinct spiciness from choice Belgian yeasts, Farm Girl is a refreshing beer with universal appeal. Enjoy it after a long day on the farm, or anytime the mood strikes you– whether you’re on the water, in the sun or hiding from the winter’s chill. Pairs well with most foods, including spicy dishes and Thai.

It's our Hibiscus sour Saison, with approximately one buttload (ok not quite) of Raspberries added. It's quite delicious.

I was making this beer with different yeast every time but decided to go back and use version number 3 from now on.

Brettaberry, a tart farmhouse ale, is inspired by freshly baked berry pie. Featuring a half-pound per gallon of strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, the acidity of the berries with the rustic funk of our house culture are rounded by the flaky crust finish of Haw Creek Honey, Riverbend Pilsner and wheat malts. Grand Teton Brewing’s second release in their Brewers’ Series in bottles is a Dry Hopped Brett Saison aged in wine barrels. Starting with a Saison using traditional malts and hops, the brewers then pitched a simple yet complex strain of yeast: Brettanomyces Drei (Brett). After the beer fermented to a low gravity resulting in a crisp, clean and dry beer, Grand Teton brewers transferred it to wine barrels where it aged for nine months. A few weeks before packaging, a blend of hops at a rate of 5 pounds per wooden barrel was added. The live Brett in this beer, as well as the generous amounts of unique and flavorful hops, makes this a great beer to drink fresh. It may also be cellared to further develop for years to come.

This eight-percent farmhouse ale tastes like it was just air-dropped from Belgium, but it's actually from a two-year old brewery in Pawtucket. The brewers at Foolproof use a complex grain bill with barley, wheat, rye, oats, and spelt. And while we can't tell you what exactly the spelt flavor is, it works. A bright spice from the yeast and rich malt flavor are set off by biting herbal hops in this fantastic saison.

Pays du Soleil is brewed as a saison and not a dubbel, although it has a resemblance to both.

Brian O’Reilly of Sly Fox Brewing Company joins Dirk Naudts to create the fifth brew in the De Proef Brewmaster’s Collaboration series. This year’s collaboration celebrates the great brewing cultures of both Philadelphia and Gent. Broederlijke Liefde (Brotherly Love) is a slightly higher gravity interpretation of the saison style. It is fermented with two yeasts – a classic saison yeast as well as brettanomyces from an original gravity of 1066 (16.5 plato). These yeasts yield a dry and slightly spicy ale with a strong hint of farmhouse character that will continue to develop with age. The use of Target and Styrian Golding hops at 37 IBUs add floral aromatics and a balancing bitterness. Broederlijke Liefde if the official Belgian collaboration ale of Philly Beer Week 2011. This is the second collab we've brewed with Penrose, both times one of us ended up spending an obscene amount of time in traffic driving between Geneva, IL and Indianapolis, IN. However we feel like the drive is worth it to get to brew such delicious beers together.

Mary of the Gael Saison-Style Farmhouse Ale. Spring Saison. St. Brigid’s Day (AKA Mary of the Gael) is celebrated in Ireland at the time of the Imbolic, a once pagan celebration of "Summer in the belly of winter." This release in our series of seasonal saisons is a refreshingly hoppy take on saison for springtime. Mary of the Gael has a simple base of pilsener malt, a touch of honey malt and is dry-hopped with a copious amount of floral hops.
