Following the steps of the American Pale Ale, the IPA brings hops, flavor and gluten free brewing to a whole new level. The IPA has everything to become a fan favorite : an aromatic nose full of citrus, lemon and floral notes, a crisp and sharp mouthfeel paired with light caramel and hoppy flavors. In November 1992 Maudite (the damned one), was the first strong beer to be distributed in Quebec grocery stores. Maudite is a mahogany-colored, rich-tasting premium beer that has a distinctive, complex taste. Because of the warmth it releases, this strong character beer must be served cool but not cold. Perfect with pasta, red meats, stews and spicy dishes, it also makes a good aperitif and after-dinner drink. Maudite has a typically Quebecois name that is reminiscent of the legend of the Chasse-Galerie (the legend of the Flying Canoe). Legend has it that a group of lumberjacks struck a deal with the devil to fly home in their canoes, guided by Satan himself, to make it home in time for Christmas.

More than a year of research was invested in the development of our first beer. The Glutenberg Blonde and a new brewery, BSG, were born. Beer lovers will appreciate its complexity. Malt, orange, wild spices with fragrances of coriander and cloves and floral hop notes. Characterized by a robust maltiness and spiciness that is counterbalanced by an assertive crisp hop finish.

Moderately hoppy with a touch of herbal spice. Light aroma and light golden colour with blonde head. Medium carbonation with finishes of coriander, and fennel.

A full bodied, robust, hoppy malt liquor with a fruity estery aroma and taste, derived from liberal use of select prairie grown barley, North American hops and a cool unhurried fermentation process. In Newfoundland, still available under the old O Keefe Extra Old Stock name.

This exceptional beer, fermented with three different types of yeast, was aged for six months in oak barrels, which were previously used in the making of apple brandy. Its nose features notes of vanilla, spices, roasted grains and barnyard. Its palate delivers intertwined flavours of burnt caramel, peach and fresh tobacco, as well as a soft effervescence delivered by fine champagne-like bubbles.

Natural apricot flavour is married to barley and wheat malts to give St-Ambroise Apricot Wheat Ale its uniquely delicious, subtly sweet taste. A natural, delightfully refreshing choice for adventurous palates that appreciate a light ale with a playful twist.

With L'Ours, the Devil's Hole assemblers offer you an evolutionary concept: each coming assembly will be distinct, sometimes leaving more intense notes, be they tart, bitter or fruity. It will, however, be a twenty percent blend of a sour rye beer aged two years in Banyuls oak barrels, and eighty percent in a young season. The nose, with delicate notes of rancio and dried fruit, will first of all lead us to believe that we have to make a sure beer. The palate will immediately offer a young beer, tart and subtly woody, all stretching into a refreshing finish.

As soon as we zyeute la Grivoise, our eyes are drowning in the dark ruby ​​of the liquid. As inevitably as instinctively, we dive our noses into an irresistible perfume of spices, with accents of liqueur of herbs, small fruits and delicacy that makes us succumb. An in-depth study of the olfactory apparatus, confirmed by the first sips, reveals a complex blend of licorice, cardamom and smoked pepper. Ta Plus Meilleure is an enhanced version of Ta Meilleure, brewed with the same base and hops, with an added peach and passion fruit puree. On top of increasing the alcohol content, the fruit gives the beer a smoother texture and an unprecedented fruity side in terms of aroma and taste. The natural acidity of the passion fruit adds another dimension to the beer, completely concealing its high alcohol content and rendering the tasting experience unique.

It’s not a smoke beer. It’s not a tart Berliner Weisse. It’s maybe a weird saison. BerlinerRauchSaison. Yes! Low gravity beer with good presence of wheat. A small layer of smoke malt disappears after a few sips. And light tartness and spice from the Saison yeast. Refreshing and flavourful at the same time.

Each Glutenberg beer has a personality of its own, and the Glutenberg Red is definitely the one with the strongest character. BRONZE MEDAL 2010 WORLD BEER CUP Hazy yellow color. Sweet green apple aromas with a nice touch of baking spices. A zesty entry leads to a frothy, fruity tart medium bodied palate.

Poured from bottle to snifter. One finger crisp head, fades rather quickly into thin film. A ring of head around glass edge, but little lacing. Darker straw color, and quite cloudy. Bananas and cloves on nose, with some tropical fruit and brown sugar characteristics. Hints of strawberry and clementine. Tastes very fruity, mostly bright red fruits and green grapes. Has a slightly bitter aftertaste, works well in the balance. Some spiciness. Higher carbonation and thicker, slightly syrupy body, though leaves a sparkling sensation that lingers. Does not seem like it is 9%. Delicious, complex and balanced. Though on expensive side (~$4/12 oz bottle), will certainly be buying more for special occasions.
