Aromas of tangerines and ripe stone fruits greet the nose from Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado hops. Flavors of grapefruit peel, fresh navel oranges and light malt sweetness lead to a smooth finish with a touch of grapefruit bitterness at the end.

Lovingly named after our address in Everett, The 87 is a juicy, tropical New England DIPA. Pours hazy with a glowing shade of orange. A simple, clean malt bill allows the hops to shine. Aromas of sweet orange and guava lead into a stone fruit burst of candied peach and nectarine. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Very drinkable for 8% ABV.

The slight sweetness is perfectly balanced by the pineapple and grapefruit hop character, without being overly bitter. Clocking in at 6.8% ABV and a low 35 IBUs, the unfiltered IPA provides a burst of fruited hop aroma and leaves drinkers wanting another sip. In comparison to West Coast style IPAs which have prominent hop bitterness and a light, dry mouthfeel, New England IPA’s are generally known for a juicy, luscious mouthfeel and opaque, hazy appearance - and are best enjoyed fresh.
