Emblematic aromas of lychee, rose and ginger abound on the nose, with white grape, aloe and juniper. These tones are intense on the palate yet they carry a slightly soapy sheen. Medium in acidity and body, the fruit flavors extend the long, spicy finish.

Thanks to the exceptional position of Gewürztraminer vines, that are exposed to the sun from morning to early evening, we chose to produce the Gewurztraminer at a high altitude among the woods of Valle dei Ronchi. The small bunches of this grape, mature perfectly to obtain an extraordinary wine that is distinct, aromatic and long lasting.

Soaked in juice for 12 hours of skin contact to extract flavor. A natural pink comes from the skins. ON FERMENTATION: Fermented in tank and temperature controlled for 4 weeks at 50°F. Rack from heavy lees and aged 6 months in stainless steel. ON RIBOLI VINEYARD: Riboli estate is situated in Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County. Weather is generously warm but never too hot, allowing the Gewürztraminer to come slowly to maturity. Cold nights and foggy mornings help give the grapes good acidity.
