Cabernet flavours are most evident on the nose, with red bell pepper, currants, cedar and mint, but the palate is where all of the other grapes from the blend come together seamlessly, each bringing a crucial component to the final wine. Plenty of dark, dusty cocoa and espresso flavours contribute to a good earthy backbone, while blackberries, black Kalamata olives, prunes and currants provide healthy fruit character. An Okanagan dusty sage element adds another layer of complexity, which becomes a slight minty element on the long, beautiful, chocolaty finish. Drink now with a premium cut of steak.

Straw yellow colour and beautiful clarity. The nose is very youthful and jumps out with banana and papaya. Honey and lemon mingle with pear and honeydew melon. The palate is focused and precise, with more refreshing citrus-driven acidity than in 2016. Tropical fruit in the mid-palate and crisp lingering finish. This wine screams for shellfish.

The grapes are hand-picked from select vineyards and lots which exhibit the potential to go into our top wines. Our Reserve Merlot is blended from the best Merlot barrels identified by our winemaker. Available exclusively online and at the winery.

Our vibrant Pinot Blanc begins with aromas of Golden Delicious apple and white peach then unfolds into flavourful layers of pink grapefruit, nectar and a lemon-lime crisp acidity throughout the bright mouthfeel.

Our RIGAMAROLE Rosé menagerie of (what else?!) pink dolphins and flamingos is chock full of the fanciful and big on the outlandish. What makes them pink? Well, food and physiology actually…but that matters less than the delicious aromatic pink wine that they inspire. A blend of varietals, led by Merlot but also including Cabernet Sauvignon, mingle so perfectly in our wonderfully engaging dry style rosé wine. Rigamarole Rosé is perfectly paired with a patio! Sip this on its own or pair with Asian dishes, roasted veggies and grilled fare.

Bright apple and melon aromas carry onto the palette and finish with crisp, clean citrus notes. A great partner with lighter fare, salads or simply on its own with good friends and family.

This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot is a full-bodied wine. Merlot and Cabernet Franc provide backbone to Cabernet Sauvignon’s structure with a touch of Petit Verdot for extra body and tannins. Red cherry and cassis aromas are on the nose and extend through to the first sip. Sage, vanilla, lavender, and sandalwood notes intermingle.

The Pinot Gris opens on an intense nose of the classic Pinot Gris aromas of pear, peach and honeydew melon along with some more exotic notes of apple blossom, grapefruit and pineapple. The palate is dry with crisp acidity and shows lush, ripe and intense peach, nectarine, baked pear and lots of lemony citrus zest on the long refreshing finish. This is one of our winery’s most popular wines and for very good reason. It offers tremendous value for the price and is made in an aromatic, fruity, easy drinking style. Our Gewürztraminer is a valley blend sourced from vineyards here on the property along with fruit from our vineyards in South East Kelowna.

This attractive Rose wine is balanced with intense aromatics of raspberries, red licorice and cranberries. Followed by a concentrated plum, cranberry, cherry, and Swedish berry palate. The mid-palate is round and juicy because of the residual sugar creating a slightly off-dry finish. Enjoy this wine with cheeses and fruits or on its own.

A combination of richness, creamy texture and finely woven bright acidity anchors the pear, lemon curd and baking spice flavours. The 2013 Perpetua shows an alluring purity and seamless integration of all the elements, with good length and intensity.

Our Reserve Red Wine has black pepper and boysenberry on the nose, followed by flavours of plum, blackberry, and a touch of sage. Oak barrel aging rounded out the silky tannins and seamlessly integrated this wine.

Our Pinot Grigio has an enticing bouquet of Anjou pear, guava, and kiwi. The mouthfeel is lush and crisp with white peach, apricot, and orange blossom honey flavours intermingling with candied ginger and spice for a tangy finish.

The warm growing season of 2014 provided us with some intensely flavoured Merlot grapes. The wine boasts aromas of rich black cherry, smoky plum, spice and toasty oak. The palate is rich and full-bodied with firm structured tannins and a long finish. We suggest pairing with similarly bold foods; braised short ribs, lasagna, bison burgers and an array of aged hard cheeses.

This wine showcases vibrant flavours of lychee and juicy grapefruit complemented by rose petal notes and a hint of sweetness. Enjoy with simple salads to international favourites such as Thai, Indian and Moroccan dishes. Perfect on a sunny day!

The puzzling complexity of terroir, oak ageing, vintages and those ridiculous descriptors is just too much. Our RIGAMAROLE™ Red menagerie is loaded with the barely believable: Dancing Rhinos, Elephants eating soup, and what exactly is a Gibra anyhow… But that’s all there is to wonder about, because the wine itself – a fabulous mix led by Merlot but also including Gamay and Pinot Noir – is simply delicious.

Our Rigamarole white menagerie of goats, hedgehogs and geese is chock full of the fanciful and big on the outlandish, but upon inspection you’ll notice a carefully choreographed collection of interesting varieties. Like our dry white blend – an engaging mingling of aromatic varieties including Gewürztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Gris. Don’t let these eccentric names fool you – it’s a wonderfully dry, aromatic and engaging white. Asian, Thai, and Indian food pairings are a great match for Rigamarole White’s dry and aromatic character.
