Indaba Chenin Blanc?begins with pleasant and even complex aromas of lime, melon, guava and other tropical fruit plus a little granny smith apple. Tasting this medium-bodied wine reveals a thick and luscious mouthfeel with crisp and clean flavors of zesty citrus and melon, nice minerality and even a bit of spice. The crisp and clean theme continues on the lingering finish.?

First released in 1999, Mulderbosch Rosé was one of the very first of its kind from South Africa. At a time when most Rosés where a byproduct of red wine fermentation, Mulderbosch launched a varietal Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé issuing from specially farmed vineyards specifically to produce Rosé fruit. On arrival at the cellar, these early picked, specially selected grapes where vinified in the same manner in which an aromatic white wine would be, with the aim of producing a fresh, aromatic style of Rosé.

As has become one of the signatures of Mulderbosch winemaking, we began the 2019 harvest as early as possible in order to harness the natural acidity that is so central to the character and freshness of Chenin Blanc.The palate has lively acidity, balanced by a firm, pithy texture central to Chenin Blanc’s character. There are unmistakable citrus notes, offset by creamy lees making this a deliciously moreish wine.

Bright tropical fruit aromas lead to a crisp, fresh palate with mouth-filling flavors of apple, pear, honey and pineapple. A gentle kiss of oak adds a creamy butterscotch nuance and wonderful depth. A superb value, this versatile white is a fantastic match for a wide range of dishes, from mac & cheese to spicy ethnic food.

Made reductively in order to maximize the fruit personality of the vintage, while maintaining the typical Southern Right balance of Old World minerality and length with hints of New World palate coverage and body. This is a wine that favors origin expressive individuality, minerality and palate complexity ahead of pure, pungent varietal aroma. A significant percentage of fruit from clay-rich soil has added an intense mid-palate structural component and additional overall complexity to this wine.

Pale cranberry color. Sour cherries, sweet spices and tarragon aromas are present leading to a palate of cranberry, pomegranate and red cherries tempered by precise acidity and a finely grained, textured mouthfeel. The finish is long, yet angular, with short, firm tannins holding everything in place.

Intense on the nose, with a bouquet of coffee, chocolate and cherry, with meaty, savoury hints. The tannins are ripe, perfectly suiting the round and mouth-filling plum and mulberry fruit.

This Shiraz comes from well drained lime rich land on which the De Wets once raised their horses. This wine is deep burgundy red in color with inviting aromas of vanilla and mocha. The palate rewards with lingering flavors of liquorice and ripe black cherries, supported by soft tannins reminiscent of the fragrance of the Orient.
