House Tully, located at Riverrun, rules as the lord of The River lands. The power of water flows through both House Tully and The Singleton of Glendullan Select as it is made on the banks of the River Fiddich in the wooded hills of Dufftown. Spey River Rum Cask Finish has been matured in traditional American oak casks until it has achieved the perfect balance of flavours. Only then, the whisky is transferred into used rum casks to allow the secondary maturation which adds to its complex character and refined depth of flavour.

Dark amber in color, Oban Little Bay has a rich and vibrant malty nose with dried apple, dried plums, caramel, honey, allspice, and oak. There’s a solid balance between the rich and spicy characteristics. The entry is very flavorful and expressive, matching the nose quite well with toasted malt, green apple, dried apricot, salt, chocolate, and orange peel. In the midpalate the real impact of the small cask finish is quite apparent as the spice elements noticeably increase with clove and oak without abandoning the sweet dried fruit underneath. After the peak of the midpalate, Oban Little Bay backs off quite a bit for a lightly acidic and slightly spicy finish. It’s a fairly light and slightly dry finish that ends fairly clean.

Pale Amber NOSE Fresh sherry embracesthe maltier, more honeyed aspects of Dalwhinnie. Peaty and surprisingly, still heathery. Spicy yet grapy. BODY Light to Medium PALATE A big, spicy buzz followed by an impressive build up of very clear, well defined malt. After a quick burst of sweetness, a rich, grape effect moves in towards the middle. FINISH Lots of oak. Very, very dry with vanilla dominating.

Stranahan’s® Sherry Cask is double-distilled, aged 4 years in virgin American white oak barrels; then transferred to Oloroso Sherry barrels from southern Spain. It is aromatic with over-ripe cherry, sweet apples, raisins, almonds, leather and fresh-cut hay. Its flavor has notes of honey, Montmorency cherries, blackcurrant, and fig, with nutty brine and walnut characteristics. The finish lingers. Best enjoyed neat, with a splash of water or in cocktails.
