Chai black tea, grilled plantain and ripe banana on the nose lead to a soft, earthy palate. Subtle vegetal flavors emerge alongside the tea, and the tropical fruit disappear. The finish is surprisingly soft and quick.

Mantuano is an excellent blended rum aged for up to eight years in white oak casks, which previously served to age bourbons and malt-whisky. It combines Column, Batch Kettle and Pot Still distillates elaborated from sugar cane molasses and honeys.

Chairman’s Spiced Rum begins with the original Chairman’s Reserve steeped with “Bois Bandé,” a local Caribbean bark culturally known for its aphrodisiac qualities. Added to the rum are local spices and fruits such as cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, allspice, lemon and orange peels.

Blended with natural Madagascar vanilla. Pleasantly sweet, rich, and creamy natural vanilla flavors.

Gently grassy. Aromas of mango, banana, and vanilla. Use for light, fruity, summery cocktails. We ferment raw cane syrup and blackstrap molasses with a rhum agricole yeast strain and a chenin blanc yeast strain to develop a rich tropical fruit character. Two distillations on our hybrid pot // column still take our spirit up to approximately 180 proof. This gives our White Rum a light enough body to perform in a mojito, but leaves enough fruity character to create a fruity daiquiri. Once it comes off the still, we add filtered water, run it through a charcoal filter, then bottle it by hand at our distillery in Northeast DC.

A curated blend of three distinct rums highlighting two styles of rum production. Rums have been sourced and distilled from sugarcane molasses to give Marsh House Rum tasting notes of cola, caramel, vanilla and jungle fruits. We then combined rum distilled from freshly pressed sugarcane juice to give it bright floral notes, with a nose of sea air and a citrus finish.

Named after Cruzan’s original sugar mill estate, this Estate Diamond® Dark Rum is expertly crafted to bring out the complex flavor of barrel-aged rum. Offering rich notes of oak and vanilla, this rum is ideal for slow sips or as a mixer in one-to-one cocktails. Mix up a Cruzan® Fig Pie cocktail by combining two parts Cruzan® Estate Diamond® Dark Rum with three-quarter parts orange juice, one-quarter part brown sugar syrup and one tablespoon of fig chutney in a shaker with ice. Shake hard for 15 seconds, double strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with grated nutmeg and a fig.

Created from a traditional family recipe, Blackwell Fine Jamaican Rum is a rich, fragrant spirit that has been barrel aged for one year and infused with tropical flavors. A bold molasses note on both the nose and palate is complemented by hints of coffee, clove and spice which lead to toasted coconut on the finish.

Coconut-flavored rum is one of those spirits that has either too much coconut or too much of a syrupy taste. It is a flavor that is difficult to find with a nice balance. Rum Jumbie's Coconut Splash comes close to making the grade of a very good coconut rum. It is certainly not overtly sweet like many, but has a soft sweetness. The coconut is also not overbearing, in fact some reviews I've seen complain that there is not enough coconut. For me it's nicely "splashed" with coconut, which is the point of this flavor line; add a splash of flavor to a rum. In that context they did a great job, though the aroma of the coconut will make you think you are going to get more coconut than you do in the end.
