Brimstone Hill's cannons protected the beautiful island of St. Kitts and her valuable sugar cane for hundreds of years. Many a ship met her demise off of this Caribbean coastline, including a British troopship that sank during the Battle of Frigate Bay in 1782. The remains of this wreck have recently been found and Brinley Gold has dedicated their "Shipwreck" Spiced Rum to this discovery. The weathered, yet elegant label looks as if it has spent years at sea, and there is even an "SOS" message from a British sailor written on the inside. Brinley's "Shipwreck" Spiced Rum is blended to match the old rums distilled with the exotic spices that would drift ashore from the fallen ships. This delicious spiced rum displays hints of orange, vanilla, nutmeg, and clove that are masterfully infused into a four year old blend.
