Carlsberg Pilsner is a premium Danish lager with a 5% ABV. It's a crisp, refreshing, perfectly balanced beer that has a full flavor and hoppy aroma. Carlsberg Danish Pilsner is brewed with the principals learned from over 100 years brewing experience to produce a lager with distinctive citrus and floral hop aromas that delivers great depth of flavor, making it the perfect beer for those that value authentic and quality drinking experiences. That's why at Carlsberg we've been exporting our finest beer since 1869. Carlsberg originates from Copenhagen, Denmark. J.C Jacobsen, our founder, brewed Denmark's first ever pint using a yeast that became the basis for many modern-day imitations. We Danes love to share, it's in our nature. In fact, almost all modern-day lagers are derived from the original yeast, Saccharomyces Carlsbergensis, used to brew Carlsberg. Enjoy the perfect pint of Carlsberg at home or in the pub! Can small refinements make a big difference, and create the most balanced pilsner beer in the world? Probably.

"Hjul & Stejle" is an old execution method called "The Wheel" in English which was often used for blasphemers and the like. Christmas is a time ripe with beliefs and myths - yet belief in Jesus, Santa Claus and angels ought to be a thing of the past. We symbolically execute Santa Claus and the like and propose a toast in Hjul & Stejle: A beer where the clean hop bitternes and distinctive flavour of rye malt is balanced by the dry, spicy contribution from Brettanomyces at work. Hjul & Stejle is a good match for any Christmas lunch - whether you believe or not! Launched november 2009.

The elusive chile beer. It’s a style I’ve been wanting to try for years, literally, and I’m glad I finally got one with Mikkeller Chipotle Porter. The color is spot on but there isn’t much head. A lot of roasted notes and smoke in the aroma. The flavor is like you’d expect. A velvety smooth smoked porter with chile heat at the end. It’s a late heat that really lingers. I’d put the heat on a level close to a mild jalapeno.Certainly not overpowering. And, since it’s a porter, if you search for some bittersweet chocolate, you’ll find it. The smoke comes out more as it warms.

To Øl Frost Bite is an American Pale Ale brewed with orange peel and pine needles. It is so frosty that it needs to be stored cold and may bite if you touch it. This beer is all about the balance (not the bass). Imagine the flavours of pine needles and orange peel. Now imagine the same flavours only represented by Aurora, Citra, Tettnanger, Simcoe and Amarillo hops. This hoppy dry mix of spices and hops makes for the perfect Winter American Style Pale Ale.

This is how the Frontier beer series lost their ground, missed direction and finally found themselves again. This beer has no frontiers, meaning that it can now pick and choose among brewing specialties. Instead of being an IPA, this is a rather a Belgian ale, hopped and dryhopped with continental european hops and refermented with brettanomyces. A tart, picturesque and rural beer.

This is the lager. This is the pilsner, the lager, the bottom fermented beer. This is the Captain on the deck, one of the lone lagers cruising on the ocean of ale. To Øl actually loves lager type beers, and sometimes lagers is missed out because of the many great ales present. So now was the time to stir things up and tell the people how you can do a super hoppy, well balanced pilsner type beer!

De-Proefbrouwerij-Tropical-Tripel-Oak-Aged
This collaborative beer from De Proef and Cigar City definitely veers a fair distance from an ordinary Belgian tripel, finding its conceptual kernel as a “peaches-and-cream tripel.” While brewed with Belgian candi sugar and a traditional Trappist yeast strain, the recipe also adds a dose of lactose for additional mouthfeel (the “cream”) and finishes up with dried peaches. A Brux III strain of Brettanomyces and assertive hop additions add to the tropical angle, while further contributions of toasted coconut and medium toasted oak appear as well. Actually, it may make sense to just forget we said anything about this as being a tripel in the first place

The great warrior of Gath. The mighty champion of the Philistines. Embedded in ancient folklore and religion. Coming from the World of Old. His size and stature is not human. He is bigger. The armor of Goliat is black. Creamy black lacings. Stands with a towering height. He can grab elements from both earth and heaven. Earthy, roasted, notes from the earth. Warming, pungent, sweet notes from the skies. His heart is beating slowly, almost endlessly slow. This man is thought to be invincible!

Thisted Limfjords Porter

Thisted-Limfjords-Porter
This beer came from Thisted Bryghus in 1989 after seven years of experimentation. The name derives from the Urban brewery in Aalborg, where the master of the Thisted Brewery in the late 70s "broke its folds". Here he got for the first time the "taste" of provincial life and this particular type of beer, often referred to by Thisted as the beer gentleman. The name was purchased after the closure of the Urban Brewery in 1986. The Limfjords-Porter "circled" the brewmaster until 1997, after which he no longer considered being able to improve the product. The right mixture of the malts was obtained. Unusual ingredients include smoked malt and English licorice, which together provide a taste balance at a slightly higher level than is usually seen. The brewmaster's personal favorite and "heart child".
