A well-balanced red blend. Crafted by our winemaking team with fruit from select California vineyards. A dry red wine that's smooth and fruit-forward to be paired with food or enjoyed on its own.

Aromas of blackberry jam, cassis and cola layered by mint and white pepper are displayed. Luscious cooked berry fruit fills the mouth with hints of vanilla and rich blackberry carries through to a smooth and well-rounded finish. At Ironstone, the vineyard manager, has at his disposal, a variety of sound, ecological vineyard practices which can be employed depending on what Mother Nature delivers during the growing season. We use crop reduction, leaf removal, organic materials, and drip irrigation to improve the quality and intensity of flavors. Cover crops, which attract beneficial insects, are also employed. In addition, we place owl and wood duck boxes around the vineyards and ponds helping to preserve the surrounding habitats. These fully mature grapes were picked at their peak and delivered to the winery after being selected by our Winemaker. After undergoing extended fermentation and maceration, the wine was transferred into small oak barrels and placed into our underground caverns to ensure a fuller, richer, finer wine of true varietal character. Hand blasted by local miners, many whose families came for gold in the 1800’s, these caverns remain a natural 60 degrees Fahrenheit year-round temperature which slowly lowers the wine’s alcohol while preserving its concentration of flavor.

This Bordeaux-style blend exhibits ripe blackberry and raspberry aromas that elegantly mingle with oak flavors. Full body and silky tannins beautifully complement a long, pleasing finish.

A medium bodied red with notes of red fruits, dark fruits, sage and pepper. It has structured but supple tannins and a long lasting, mouth watering finish. Pairs well with grilled beef or lamb.

This wine has developed a fair reputation for being a big brute, and for serious this might be our best yet. A truly debauched blend of 47% Merlot, 39% Petit Verdot and 14% Malbec. Spoken Barrel is born from the rugged growing conditions of Washington's Columbia Valley appellation. The red grape varieties from its top vineyards were destemmed and fermented warm on the skins in stainless steel tanks to extract flavor, color, and tannins. Black garnet in color, this meritage features bright, fresh fruit aromas of blueberry and red plum with dark notes of leather, black licorice, and deep roasted oak. A dense and rich mouthfeel is accented by flavors of bright red fruits, toasty oak, smoke, chocolate, and citrus rind. The ample tannins are supple and carry the flavors through a long finish. Spoken Barrel's high-quality wines are easy to pick out, open up, and share with confidence. Varietal: 45% malbec, 28% cabernet sauvignon, 14% merlot, 13% petit verdot.

A rich, full-bodied red showing a complex combination of red and black fruits with hints of vanilla and spice. Well-structured with ripe tannin, this wine is drinking beautifully now but will continue to improve for 5 to 10 years.

Aromas of black currant, cassis and a hint of smoky tobacco. Notes of black cherry, plum, vanilla and mocha are present on the medium-bodied palate. Its smooth mouth-feel and soft tannins make this a wine perfect for drinking now or will age gracefully over the next 5-7 years.

The second label of Tenuta di Trinoro, Le Cupole was first produced in 1995. It is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, with percentages varying with each vintage. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in one to three year old barriques and cement, Le Cupole is velvety and approachable. This wine hits the palate with exuberance, full of fleshy, bright fruit, extracted tannins, and rich color.
