Our best-selling beer, River City Raspberry, is a fruit beer that builds on our already delicious wheat ale by adding a locally blended 100% natural raspberry purée that lends a subtle sophisticated tang. Incredibly easy-drinking, it’s served in our restaurants with a spoonful of raspberries in every pint.

Medicine-Hat-Patio-Series-Witbier
The Belgian Witbier has been synonymous with warm weather and the great outdoors since the thirteenth century. Our take on this historic style pours a hazy off-white, with bright citrus and herbaceous notes from the use of coriander seeds, unmalted wheat, orange peel, and other unique aromatics. Classic in influence and modern in presentation — we hope you enjoy this taste of Belgium from our family in Medicine Hat.

"We brewed a delicious one-off saison late summer 2018, and started scheming up potential fruit additions shortly after. Flight 1884, with 5% actual pineapple juice in the brew, represents our first attempt at fruiting our farmhouse ale. Pineapple, slightly tart, light-bodied and completely refreshing!"

Snake-Lake-Brewing-Sidewinder-IPA
Bold flavours and aromas of citrus, pine, and overripe fruit balanced with a gentle bitterness and malt profile. In 1982, Gary Johnson and Dave Dubeta began construction on a million dollar waterslide project on Lakeshore Drive. Named through a competition, the Wild Rapids Waterslide opened with four main tower slides, three smaller slides for children, and a hot tub. Eventual additions included the infamous Sidewinder slide.
Medicine Hat Sin Bin Red Ale

Medicine-Hat-Sin-Bin-Red-Ale
The iconic hotel that sits in the downtown core of Medicine Hat has been a part of our city’s history for over 100 years, and the stories those walls could tell could make some blush. The Sin Bin Red Ale is also meant to contribute to some great stories for those that enjoy this damn fine brew. The Sin Bin Red Ale is made to be infinitely drinkable; with its malt-forward profile, and just enough hops to keep the malt in check. The Sin Bin is brewed with anticipation of converting some light lager drinkers over to the ale side. Not as malty as an Irish Red Ale, nor as hoppy as an American Amber/Red Ale, the Sin Bin will prove to satisfy the taste buds to a point that you will have a difficult time telling stories because you’ll be too busy enjoying the Red Ale. 5.0% abv 17 ibu’s.

Tool Shed Red Rage

Tool-Shed-Red-Rage
This ale is inspired by the undocumented, freakish strength possessed by gingers (or at least by Graham). For those who are unaware of this phenomenon, red rage is, unofficially, the ONE thing Chuck Norris fears! Extreme outbursts of red rage can result in temporary memory loss which we like to refer to as "Ginger Induced Comas". The beer itself is dark red, roasty life coffee, toasty like fresh bread and makes your mouth water for more. We put just enough hops in to remind you what they're capable of. This ale is medium bodied and easy to drink. Alberta Gingers Unite! It's time to KICK BACK!

Hell’s-Basement-Ryes-Against-The-Machine
This is southern Alberta, so let's talk crops! The hardiest of cereals, rye outperforms all other cover crops on infertile, sandy or acidic soil or on poorly prepared land. Nature can be a ruthless machine on the bald prairie, but our farmers have learned to ryes against the machine! This tough little grain adds character and complexity to our beer, bringing bready and spicy notes to a classic Rye style. Ryes Against the Machine is our tribute to autumn, hard working harvesters, and the rich agricultural heritage of Medicine Hat.
