This wine epitomizes what should always be the essence of a true wine. One of the two properties from which grapes are sourced is owned by a childhood friend and the other belongs to my cousins. We have been working together on this wine for 15 years now. Trust and friendship form its basis. The blend of Syrah from Vinsobres with Syrah from Villafranchian terraces in Gard always produces wonderful balance, fleshiness and finesse. You may get to know the 2015 vintage through this wine – the oxblood color, the depth, sappy character and wonderful round tannins for instance. You can easily sense the intensity with which fruit was imbued in 2015, a truly superb vintage. Successfully ripened grapes combined with freshness and our Syrah vines loved a hot July in 2015. This is exemplified in the magnificent wines produced in 2015 in the northern Rhone valley. The whole point of our Côtes du Rhône is to offer an early drinking wine that also has very good aging capacity. I recently tasted the 2007 again which was really complex and still young. Welcome to 2015, the finest vintage since 2010. Blackcurrant, camphor, truffle, rose and blueberry.

Boom Boom! Syrah Red Wine is a mouth filling, rich and totally satisfying red wine blend. Explosive aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, white pepper and savory herbs dance on the nose. Its complexity and tannins are inferior to none. This red blend contains a strong helping of syrah, with a supporting cast of viognier and grenache wine grapes sourced from the Washington State winegrowing region using sustainable wine practices. This appellation is the second-largest premium wine producer in the United States and continues to grow in popularity thanks to its unique characteristics. A glass of this spicy syrah wine pairs well with lamb cutlets, slow-roasted pork tenderloin, saucy barbecue ribs or lamb meatballs. Store this bottle of wine at room temperature. When you're ready to pour a glass, make sure to refrigerate for about 30 to 60 minutes beforehand. Serve cool for optimal taste. Please enjoy our wines responsibly. © 2020 Charles Smith Wines, Prosser, WA USA

Our 2010 Syrah displays bright blackberry, wild-berry, flowers, mocha, pepper and our signature sage spice. The silky finish lingers from the ripe tannins with a touch of smoky oak. A traditional pairing for this wine is a rack of lamb marinated in rosemary and garlic.

Lifted spice and ripe mulberry/blackberry aromas are complimented with chocolate, cedar and cinnamon on the nose. Well-integrated oak tannin provides flavours of clove and supple texture, which supports the rich plum, blackberry and mocha. The overall structure is supple and generous with fine-grained tannin and a lingering finish.

Vintage: 2012 Proprietary Name: Old Vines - The Ransom Composition: 100% Petite Sirah Appellation: Lodi District Average Vines Age: 50 + years old Aging: 9 months (one year old French Alliers & Troncais oak) Alcohol: 13.5% Our Seven Sinners is a Petite Sirah from the Lodi District, an area with a rich and distinctive history for old vines. Luckily enough for us we stumbled upon a family who have been growing rich, dense and intense Petite Sirah grapes for over 50 years. This vintage shows velvety textures upfront followed by deep rich flavors of blackberry jam, blueberry and spice, resulting in a long deep concentrated finish. Opulent and concentrated, while maintaining a food friendly balance, this wine is showing beautifully right now and will continue to age gracefully for the next 7 –10 years

Here at Andrew Peace Wines we have produced a stunning Preservative Free wine The Unexpected Shiraz. Through an uncompromising winemaking process, the extended aging on lees has provided natural protection against oxidation, whilst giving the wine a savoury complexity. This process has plumped the body of the wine giving it further intricacy and has produced a superb bright purple hue from the rim through to its core. The nose is ripe with bold blackcurrant fruit and is sweet and luscious on the palate, with a fabulously long finish. This rich powerful wine works well with roasted lamb or beef, with Mediterranean Roasted Vegetables and full flavoured cheeses. Our stunning Shiraz is made without the use of any animal products whatsoever making it Vegan friendly and perfect for people with sulphur sensitivities.

St-Francis-Syrah
The origins of St. Francis Vineyards began in 1971 when businessman Joe Martin and his wife, Emma, purchased a 100-acre vineyard known as Behler Ranch in the Sonoma Valley town of Kenwood. For several years, the fruit from this vineyard was sold to local wineries. But in 1979, St. Francis Winery was built and the first vintage of St. Francis wines was produced. Tom Mackey took over as wine maker in 1983 helping St. Francis to pioneer a Sonoma Valley style and identify the varieties that were best suited to the soil of the region. Our St. Francis reviews acknowledge that Tom and St. Francis were the first to plant and bottle Merlot within Sonoma and would later add Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel to their portfolio. Our St. Francis ratings distinguish the latter two grape varieties as being the signature wines throughout the St. Francis lines of wine. To see which wines are best suited for you check our St. Francis online wine guide below.
