Domaine de Beaurenard has been a family-run estate for eight generations. Today, brothers Daniel & Frédéric Coulon and Daniel’s sons Victor and Antonin are dedicated to produce the most essential expressions of this historic region, long sought-after by discerning collectors and enthusiasts around the globe. Domaine de Beaurenard has been producing certified biodynamic wines on more than 80 acres of this celebrated terroir since 2010. Domaine de Beaurenard is also established in the up and coming Rasteau Appellation with 60 acres and in Côtes du Rhône with 25 acres both also certified biodynamic. Beautifully deep in color, Rasteau offers a superbly fresh nose with notes of garrigue and wild blueberries. This combination of fruit and spice is mirrored in the mouth, with notes of wild raspberry, rosemary and thyme.

A wonderfully complex wine like this one deserves a slow cooked meal Something classic like a baked leg of lamb and root vegetables served with a red wine jus, or something a little more funky, like a North African inspired, lamb and apricot cous cous or a slow cooked Indian beef curry. The lovely spicy notes at the end of the palate make it a great wine to accompany these rich, fragrant dishes

Appearance: very deep crimson red. Nose: fine and powerful, we find numerous ripe fruit aromas (currant, blackcurrant, raspberry…), solar. Palate: generous, this wine presents a good structure and a great potential. The grape varieties are Grenache and Syrah. These last years, the use of new grape varieties, as Syrah and Mourvèdre, allowed to develop the real possibilities of the soil.
