The Grove drinks like you picked the fruit this morning, squeezed it into a glass, and --poof!-- turned it into the most intensely crushable beer you've ever seen. Boat Beer is designed to be complex enough to merit drinking a few without being crippled by alcohol. Kolsch yeast and German malts are combined to be crisp and refreshing, while a generous amount of American hops have been added to keep it remarkable. Expect it to dance out of the glass with a whack of grapefruit and open into a crisp, stony tangle of white and yellow fruit with pine and moss notes. Like all things truly Jersey, 077XX makes the most in balancing through its accentuation of extremes. Inspired by the west coast IPAs we love, we added a thump of hops to a dynamic malt profile and chose a yeast to drive these two further than they wanted to go. Throw our water into this mix and you will find dank green resinous hops popping over orange, mango and papaya aromas, with just enough sweetness of body to make the long finish a pleasure to have around. Cross my heart and hope to die, putting in lots of hops at a time. We got your back and like bovines, whoooaaa ohhh... One Hoof in Front of the Other! We laid down a dreamy base with loads of wheat and oats and fermented with our favorite yeast to make pure juice! Azacca/Denali in the whirlpool with more of those bangers plus Citra/Galaxy in the dry hops. Huge notes of ripe orange, mango and peach. A fun little beer as a nod to one of our favorite feel good songs. Are you ready to walk the mooooooon?!?

The extra hours of daylight that come with summer at the Jersey Shore make the days seem endless. We know that just means more time to enjoy good beers with good people. This northeast IPA gets some help from a Norwegian Kveik yeast strain (another area known for long summer days). Endless Daze features a hazy body that blends perfectly with the notes of pineapple and berry that flow from big Denali and Galaxy hop additions after flameout. The Kveik yeast strain delivers an intriguing layer to this beer that makes it crushable and complex.

There is no doubt variety is the spice of life and we love going off in all kinds of directions looking for new flavors. Like all travel though at some point your heart turns back toward home. Home, robust American ales. This route travels along a path of piney American hops, Simcoe, Cluster, and Horizon their natural course coaxed toward spicy by a touch of rye. Drink Red Rye Returning because home is where the hops is.

Winner of the silver medal at the 2008 Great American Beer Festival, this Belgian-style Abbey Dubbel is an exceptionally complex beer with many interwoven flavors. This classic-style Abbey beer features an immense head with a fruity nose and a generous body. Malty in the middle, the beer features a clean, almondy dry finish and a slight alcohol warmth. More like a wine than a beer—it has a lot of the qualities of a fine Burgundy.

Like concocting a spell, we used a different combination of citrus hops and yeast to bring you into a realm that nobody has been to before. Stop by, hang out, and try this elixir.

Our first seasonal release comes in at an easy drinkin' 4.3% ABV. Pilsner and wheat in the mash, little dash of Saaz in the beginning of boil and crushed coriander seed and himalayan sea salt at the tail end of boil. We ferment this with a special house yeast which produces a slightly tart beer with undertones of pineapple and mango. Before packaging we dosed this batch with copious amounts of fresh cucumbers.

Special Ale is our flagship ESB. It's been with us from the start and hasn't changed since that first brew way back in 1996. Ample quantities of caramel malt give this English ale a soft copper hue and the colorful addition of carapils malt adds a slight sweetness you might mistake for honey.

Old Blue Last is a refreshing lager beer which is a little sour and a bit salty. It has a smooth and distinct taste and comes in silver as well as gold cans. Named after VICE’s pub/music venue in London, Old Blue Last is the result of a long-term partnership between VICE and Anheuser-Busch. Brewed in Newark, NJ. 5% alcohol by volume.

This beer was inspired by both East and West coast IPAs. Drawing its dank piney hop character from the West, and its smooth light bitterness, along with its dry crushabilty from the East, Vine Shine combines both styles to make a truly unique IPA.

Our limited release House Party is our 6.8% American IPA. This beer is brewed with pilsner, oat malt, and flaked oats in the mash. We used chinook for a touch of bittering and a huge charge of citra & mosaic in the whirlpool, as well as in the dry hop. This results in a full bodied IPA with aromas and flavors of citrus and tropical fruit from the citra along with mixed berries, stone fruit and pine from the mosaic.
