GRAPE VARIETIES: 20-year-old Red Grenache vines (80%), old Carignan (10%) and Syrah (10%). Clean and well defined in style, combining an opulent, floral nose with a bright and vivacious palate, along with an enticing hint of spice. Color: cherry, violet edge. Aroma: red fruit, dried herbs. Mouth: fruity, tasty, balanced. The most approachable of the reds is the young Les Crestes, produced with fruit from their younger vines. The fact that this is mostly Garnacha also adds to the (relative) lightness and drinkability in a coolish year like 2018, and it has more red fruit and fantastic freshness, with fine tannins and very integrated oak.

Merit is an expression of Llicorella, the Priorat soil in the glass. A blend from mostly Merlot and Syrah, with a touch of Garnatxa and Carinyena to add complexity and structure to the wine. The grapes are handpicked at an earlier stage, the first fruit to reach peak ripeness created by the hot days of summer. All lots are cold-soaked for 5 days before beginning their fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The carbonic maceration technique is used for 20 days to reach optimum flavour and soft tannin extraction. The wine is aged for 1 year in stainless steel tanks to build a rounded mouthfeel from the lees. The intent is to express fruitiness with no influence of oak, showcasing the aromas of the iron and minerality of the soil. This wine is unfined and unfiltered. Bright deep ruby colour, medium layer and intensity. On the nose juicy red cherry, black liquorice, cocoa powder, fennel seed, tobacco and slate. On the palate performs a friendly tannin structure with a luscious and bright acidity showcasing notes of fleshy black cherry, strawberry preserve, and crushed stone minerality that lingers on the palate.

Grenache, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah Deep purple with ruby tinges. Aromatic intensity and complexity with explicit presence of preserved red fruit well balanced with the touch of toasty notes from the oak. Mas d'en Blei is a small winery in the Priorat region. Located in La Morera de Montsant, it has 17 hectares of vineyards on the banks of the Siurana River where the winery and the old farmhouse (1756) blend in with the surroundings perfectly. In 2006 the Ferrús Guaschfamily acquired this small property, and together with the winemaker Jordi Torrella recovered its agricultural value by planting more than 20 thousand vines, mostly indigenous varieties such as Garnacha and Cariñena, in order to start producing quality craft wines. Blei Liber is a red wine made with Garnacha, Cariñena and Cabernet Franc, from the Mas d'en Blei estate, with slate-containing soils and slopes facing south-west. The grapes are harvested manually and placed in 10-kg boxes. After an initial selection, the grapes are destemmed and another selection is made berry by berry. Before the fermentation starts, they undergo cold maceration for 24 hours. Each variety is fermented separately, with native yeasts for 20-24 days with manual pigeage being performed daily. The wine is aged for 12 months in 225 litre French oak barrels of medium grain and light medium toast.

Dry white wine, with fruity and floral aromas in combination with a broad and well-structured palate. Its complexity reveals its notable personality. With a mineral background, it is mature, silky in the mouth and meaty.

85% Garnatxa, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon Silvestris…wild, natural and Nature’s faithful one. Gratavinum Silvestris is a natural wine, just like it was elaborated thousands of years ago: only fermented grape juice with the grapes wildest yeasts, and without any additional substance. Originated in organic vineyards that have never received any chemical substance’s aggression, maximum expression of the earth’s natural essence and poisonous virgin. Dark garnet colour with violet hints, it is intense at the nose, dominated by fruity notes of ripe red and black high-purity with a light tan background of the barrels. Enters the mouth with great breadth, combining ripe fruit with balanced acidity and volume. Long and persistent, it can be distinguished for its great intensity and purity in all areas.

In 1996, the Torres Family began planting vineyards on the black slate-like “Licorella” soils of Priorat. Salmos is considered a tribute to the Carthusian monks who planted the first grapevines in Priorat in 1095. Blend of : Cariñena, Garnacha and Syrah
