Lini-910-Labrusca-Lambrusco-Rosso
The Lini Family has been making Lambrusco since 1910. "Labrusca" is the grape's ancient name, from the Latin labrum meaning "edge." It is believed that Lambrusco grew naturally around the edges of fields cultivated by Italy's ancient people, the Etruscans. The Lini family's "traditional" Labrusca Rosso is a perfect pairing for the classic dishes of Emilia like lasagne and tagliatelle alla bolognese, tortellini in brodo, and the region's famous cured meats. Low in alcohol, with bright acidity and loads of fruit in the mouth, this gently sparkling red wine is the ideal complement to the rich foods of the Emilia region.

This wine is from Italy, Emilia-romagna region, Lambrusco Grasparossa Di Caste sub-region. Cleto Chiarli is the oldest producer of Lambrusco in Emilia Romagna. The winery was founded in 1860 by Cleto Chiarli, a restauranteur, who was already producing his own Lambrusco for customers of his restaurant. Chiarli owns seven estates, six located in the Modena DOC and one in the Colli Bolognesi DOC, located in Bologna. The vineyards extend throughout the fertile alluvial soils of the river Secchiaon on the plane north of Modena. Lambrusco refers to a family of similar varietals that primarily in Emilia-Romagna. There are several clones and sub varieties, the most common being Sobara and the red-stemmed Grasparossa. Sorbara is prized for its lightness and elegance, while Grasparossa is fuller and more powerful. The wines are produced using the Metodo Italiano (Charmat) process where a second fermentation is conducted in pressurized stainless steel tanks. For over a century, the Chiarli name has been considered a benchmark for traditional quality Lambrusco.. Gentle pressing of the grapes followed by a long cold maceration. Produced with the Metodo Italiano(Charmat) process.. Red, semi sparkling wine, full-bodied and soft on the palate.

Azienda Agrícola Tre Monti traces its origins back to the early 1960s with the inspiration of Sergio Navacchia and of his wife Thea, who for years was the real driving force behind the winery until her death in 1989. A turning-point came in the 1980s, the result of a revolution that began in the vineyards and carried over into the cellar. Close relationships were established with the best talent in the Italian wine world: a youthful Francesco Spagnolli in the early 1980s, followed by Vittorio Fiore, and afterwards Donato Lanati. The fruit of their expertise underpinned the steady growth of the winery, directed by Vittorio and David and with the help of their father Sergio. The heart of the winery lies in the center of the farm estate in Imola, where only estate-grown grapes are vinified. All of the vineyards are managed according to the principles of sustainable viticulture, which mandate inter-row cover-cropping and the lowest possible use of unnatural products. The winemaking operations too, watched over thoroughly by the experienced and talented Vittorio Navacchia, are animated by a philosophy of minimal intervention. Every step is carried out with full respect not only for the integrity of the fruit, but for the unique character of each growing year as well. All of this so that the final wine is the perfect expression of everything around its environment. Tre Monti became certified organic in 2014.
