Cabernet flavours are most evident on the nose, with red bell pepper, currants, cedar and mint, but the palate is where all of the other grapes from the blend come together seamlessly, each bringing a crucial component to the final wine. Plenty of dark, dusty cocoa and espresso flavours contribute to a good earthy backbone, while blackberries, black Kalamata olives, prunes and currants provide healthy fruit character. An Okanagan dusty sage element adds another layer of complexity, which becomes a slight minty element on the long, beautiful, chocolaty finish. Drink now with a premium cut of steak.

Straw yellow colour and beautiful clarity. The nose is very youthful and jumps out with banana and papaya. Honey and lemon mingle with pear and honeydew melon. The palate is focused and precise, with more refreshing citrus-driven acidity than in 2016. Tropical fruit in the mid-palate and crisp lingering finish. This wine screams for shellfish.

Deeply smoky aromas with notes of basil, vanilla, chocolate and coffee jump out of the glass. A weighty, fully bodied wine with grippy tannins, bright acid and ripe fruit on the palate. Long finish with flavours of dark fruit, baking spices, chocolate, coffee and tobacco.

Black currant, chocolate, vanilla and toast are evident in this expressive nose. This full bodied Merlot provides harmonious flavours of black cherry, plum and a touch of spice as the finish lingers against fine round tannins.

The 2015 Pinot Noir is medium bodied and shows great complexity and length with attractive, juicy red berried fruit and subtle oak influence.Classic Pinot Noir, with notes of cherry, raspberry and plum fruit with allspice, earth, dried herbs and savory notes. The balance of fruit, acidity and light tannins make this a very versatile food wine. We suggested roasted chicken, grilled BC salmon and duck dishes. For vegetarians, beet, mushroom and French lentil dishes make great pairings. We recommend serving at around 15°C to enhance your tasting experience.

A blend of 40% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah and 20% Gamay. Grapes were hand harvested and transferred to fermenting tanks for a five day cold soak, twice daily pump over to extract color and flavour. Fermentation was maintained at a consistent 26 degrees, and a light membrane press yields the juice used for the Cactus Red blend.

The nose shows heaps of beautiful tropical fruit, spice and grapefruit, with some rose petal jumping out of the glass. This wines supple palate is bursting with Lychee and ripe stone fruit with fine acidity and a lengthy finish. Alsatian in style, this ripe, luscious wine will improve in the bottle. Enjoy on its own or pair with roast pork.
