Pale straw in colour, the 2012 Y Series Viognier has aromas of honeysuckle, candied ginger and glacé pineapple that typify this exotic variety. The palate is rich in texture and body thanks to wild yeast fermentation and ageing on lees, yet retains a refreshing quality that make it a pleasure to drink. Flavours to be found on the palate include fresh pineapple and lychee.

Aromas: Wonderful aromas reminiscent of stone fruits, intense peach, apricot, apple, honeysuckle and jasmine blossom. Tasting Notes: Voluptuous, rich mouth-feel of tropical fruits. Our 2013 Viognier from Deux Vert Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA represents what we love about Viognier... a lush aromatic nose tempered by lean acidity and minerality. We think what makes this Viognier unique is that it is from a single vineyard in the cool climate Willamette Valley and that we ferment it entirely in small lot stainless steel drums, allowing us to increase complexity by using different yeasts. Wine Spectator has rated a prior vintage of our Viognier a 90.

Crisp, with strong hints of the viognier. The viognier takes the chard in a different direction with a more earthy taste. The Sauvignon Blanc provides an acidic backstop that lightens things up.

Aromas of white peach, ripe pear, lilac and orange blossoms hint at the incredible mouthful of cantaloupe, green apple, clover honey and a hint of mandarin. This lively, succulent, silky Viognier possesses flavors of musky mango, sweet-tarts, tropical papaya and jasmine; mouth filling and bright.

This white wine (viognier) is produced from a single vineyard and like the Guilty only a “lucky few will ever get to taste it”.

Imported by Elite Wine Imports. This wine is 100% Viognier which has been aged in both wood and stainless steel. Alcohol 12.5%. The color was a yellow gold. The nose revealed generous tropical white fruits without any heaviness. The mouth follows the nose but is immediately more serious with focus, grip, and integrated acidity. The ripe yellow fruit builds to the finish where spices come out. It leaves ripe texture on the gums followed by a racy aftertaste with salivating acidity.

The symbol on La Combe Pilate’s label is the alchemic symbol for spirit and is inked to Chapoutier’s biodynamic philosophy – to respect and transform the raw material into a high quality product while showcasing the spirit of the land. The Collines Rhodaniennes IGP is characterized by the hills and valleys that surround the Rhône River.

The bouquet offers a unique aromatic range including citrus flowers, exotic fruits, apricots, white-fleshed stone fruit and jasmine. The palate is intensely fruity and well balanced. At once mouth-filling and fat which works in harmony with the flavours of exotic fruit and toasted brioche.
