Chenin Blanc Brilliant clear yellow. Seductive nose with lovely fruit aromas (pear, pineapple) and delicate floral notes. Smooth on the palate with a nice refreshing finish. To be enjoyed as an aperitif or with smoked fish, Asian dishes, creamy cheese. Best served between 8°C and 10°C / 46°F and 50°F. Vegan friendly.

Made using a blend of grapes that come from a diverse collection of Swartland soils, with each piece of land putting its own mark on the final product. Made for those warm sunny days that don’t seem to end.

As has become one of the signatures of Mulderbosch winemaking, we began the 2019 harvest as early as possible in order to harness the natural acidity that is so central to the character and freshness of Chenin Blanc.The palate has lively acidity, balanced by a firm, pithy texture central to Chenin Blanc’s character. There are unmistakable citrus notes, offset by creamy lees making this a deliciously moreish wine.

Indaba Chenin Blanc?begins with pleasant and even complex aromas of lime, melon, guava and other tropical fruit plus a little granny smith apple. Tasting this medium-bodied wine reveals a thick and luscious mouthfeel with crisp and clean flavors of zesty citrus and melon, nice minerality and even a bit of spice. The crisp and clean theme continues on the lingering finish.?

A fresh and round mouth feel with intense fruity notes of nectarine, gooseberry and pine with a bright, clean finish. A versatile wine to enjoy with spicy ethnic foods from Chinese to Indian. Also great as an aperitif. Serve chilled.

Fall Creek Vineyards has been working with Chenin Blanc from Escondido Valley for over 30 years. The vines from which we source these grapes are some of the oldest vines in Texas and this is evident in the complexity of our Chenin Blanc wines. The 2018 Chenin Blanc reveals the serious side of the variety with a surprisingly aromatic nose suggesting smoky lemon, bitter almond and fresh quince. The palate is medium in weight with a green apple and D'Anjou pear character finishing with notes of lime zest and wet stone.

The grapes for this wine come from a vineyard high in the mountains of Clanwilliam, 25 miles from the sea at 1600ft elevation. Dry farmed, as there is no longer any water available, these 50 +/- year old vines produce a mere 2.5 tons per hectare. The wine has lime/citrus notes with firm acidity. 50% barrel fermented/matured in 400 litre french oak barrels.

Today, Gilles Gaudron perpetuates a family know-how handed down by three successive generations of winegrowers living in Vernou sur Brenne. One of the oldest French wines from the Loire Valley, it was first produced in the 9th century; it became a favorite of the Dutch in Southern Africa by the 17th century. Our Chenin Blanc is neutral and light enough to pair well with fish and pastas with cream based sauce. It’s mineral elements balance quite favorably with opening notes of a spring bouquet and hints of citrus and a lingering pear finish. It should be enjoyed young.
