The St. Bernardus Abt 12 is the pride of our stable, this Abbey ale is brewed in the classic 'Quadrupel' style of Belgium's best Abbey Ales. Dark with a full, ivory-colored head. It has a fruity aroma, full of complex flavours and excels because of its long bittersweet finish with a hoppy bite. (10,0% ABV) Worldwide seen as one of the best beers in the world. It's a very balanced beer, with a full-bodied taste and a perfect equilibrium between malty, bitter and sweet. One of the original recipes from the days of license-brewing for the Trappist monks of Westvleteren.

For those Qualified, our abbey-style quadrupel. This dark ale features roasted Belgian specialty malts with rich, deep notes of caramel, molasses, raisin and plum, enhanced by fruity Belgian yeast esters. A sweet, complex ale, it’s the perfect dessert beer to sip and savor.

The Rochefort brewery is located inside the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Saint-Rémy, near the town of Rochefort, and has been brewing beer since 1595. The Rochefort '10' is a world classic beer. Brewed with water, malt, other cereal grains, hops, yeast and sugar to a sufficient high gravity to be called Rochefort 10. Deep red-brown colour with a compact head. Big and delicious, QUAD is an elegant dark ale. Rich with complexity and flavor, try savoring it with a fine dinner. You also might enjoy it as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a dessert, but QUAD stands alone quite well. We recommend enjoying QUAD in a brandy snifter or wine glass so you can drink in the aroma of this fine ale.As with any higher alcohol beers, QUAD will be at its best after a period of 12 months or so in the bottle, perhaps longer. We expect a shelf life of 3 – 5 years, but go ahead, we know you can’t wait. Enjoy one now and another every month or two, and you’ll be truly amazed as QUAD gains smoothness and complexity over time as it ages.

In Belgian brewing there are fantastic wild ales brewed with naturally occurring yeast. These beers develop over time and are ready on their own terms. Duck Duck Gooze is our homage to these effervescent and wonderfully complex sparkling beers.A blend of young and old barrel aged beers, this has been one of our most sought after beers year after year since it’s original release in 2009.Alas, it is released in very small quantities only once every three years, so it’s extremely difficult to come by beyond the day we release it. It does, however, turn up on our Tasting Room’s Vintage List from time to time, so don’t despair.

The name ‘Barista’ conjures thoughts of the fragrance of steaming coffee below a layer of expertly created froth. This may sounds rather far-fetched for a beer... However, the aromas and the flavours of caramel, cacao and roast malt match seamlessly with the ‘black gold’ and chocolate. This beer builds bridges with the world of hot beverages, with warming alcohol in the finish. One to enjoy all the year round: with a meal, in front of an open fire or on an outdoor terrace.

This Belgian-Style Quadrupel is a beer bigger, bolder, and boozier than its sister styles Dubbel and Tripel. Ruby brown in color with a richly vinous palate, this ale is ripe with flavors of stone fruit, sherry, and spice, after four months of aging in Port wine barrels. An exceptionally creamy mouthfeel masks a subtle, but distinct, alcohol warmth – each sip is sweet but not cloying, potent but not heady – a brew fit to be savored in the coldest winter months. Silver Medal Winner GABF 2019 - Deep amber in color, a nose of malt, fruit and a touch of smoke. Taste notes of brown sugar, plums, grapes, cherries, raisins, coriander and chocolate. Medium-full bodied with a long, dry fruity finish.

At a Glance The Beer: A fresh track, Track 8 is a spicy monster — A base of Judgment Day aged in freshly emptied bourbon barrels then spiked with liberal additions of cinnamon stick and dried chili pepper. ABV: 13.7% Released: August 18, 2012 Liner Notes We’ve never released a Bourbon Barrel version of our Judgment Day. So we thought it might be interesting to take the base beer for Cuvee de Tomme age in first fill Bourbon Barrels and let mother nature take over. Of course, because this is a Rock and Roll inspired Box Set beer, we couldn’t just leave well enough alone. Upon sampling the base beer, it became apparent that the raisins used to brew the base beer were going to drive the flavor bus of this beer. The conversations turned to Oatmeal Raisin cookies and the essence of a freshly baked treat. So we added some cinnamon sticks to the barrels and threw in some dried chiles as well. At 13.70 ABV this beer has amazing depth of flavor and presents a unique drinking experience for consumers who may be seeking enlightenment on Judgment Day.

For our first year of our Yankee Swap beer series, we selected rum barrels from our friends at Turkey Shore Distilleries and dark maple syrup from North Hadley Sugar Shack. This Strong Ale is a big beer with hints of maple and complex notes of oak and rum from the Old Ipswich rum barrels.

St Bernardus Abt matured for 6 months in Oak Calvados barrels

The oaken monstrosity terrorized the countryside, crashing his lumbering frame into houses, leaving a trail of utter devastation. Garron the Valiant, seeking fame for his family, stole his father’s horse and sword, and left in the night to murder the monster. The carnage led him to a hill, behind which the barrel behemoth demolished a village. Garron shrieked, raised his sword, and drove his spurs into his father’s horse to gallop to the summit, face-to-face with the four-barreled nightmare. “Oh My Quad,” he breathed, as the barrels pummeled him into the soft earth. Oh My Quad is a 13.4% ABV, Barrel-aged Belgian-style Ale in the Grand Cru tradition. This brewpub original evokes dried, pitted fruits through its combination of select yeast, malts, and dried cherries to showcase what we love most about big, Belgian beer.

Straffe Hendrik Quadruple is a rich and intense dark Belgian ale. It is brewed with a subtle blend of specialty malts, which give the ale an extremely dark color and a chewy, malty complex character. The quadruple combines a clean dryness with a warm full bodied mouth feel and essences of fruit. Secondary fermentation in the bottle creates a living ale that can be aged and will have an evolution of taste profiles over time. It is brewed by the last active brewery in the historical city of Bruges. The town archives first mention the brewery in 1546. Since 1856, the famous brewing family Maes-Vanneste has owned the brewery.
