In the 1960's on Allen's Landing sat Love Street; a hot spot of music and social impact. The venue hosted eclectic characters ranging from open mic'ers to the Lizard King himself. Reissdorf Kölsch is the beer speciality from Cologne with a tradition starting 1894. A Kölsch with a pleasant, full-bodied, and uniquely light and sweet taste in premium quality, that is brewed for the adepts who prefer something special.

This Kölsch style ale transports us back to experiencing the majesty, tradition and purity of Kölsch for the very first time. Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing went for a very traditional recreation with a little modern twist. Ingredients include Weyermann Pilsner malt, Valley Malt Warthog Wheat, Valley Malt Vienna Malt and hopped with Tettnanger and Mandarina Bavaria hops.

This is a light, crisp and refreshing golden ale in the style of those brewed in the German city of Cologne (Koln). A slightly sweet aroma with a hint of grassiness leads to herbal and spicy hop character and sweet malt notes. Though fermented at a cool temperature for an ale, Magnolia's Kolsch ale yeast provides a complex, fruity finish fading to a crisp hop note at the very end. Kolsch is typically served in small, cylindrical glasses meant to be refilled often, insuring that every glass remains refreshingly cool with bright effervescence.

A clean and crisp, balanced beer that showcases Perle as a single aroma and flavor hop. The 15 minute and 30-minute addition adds bitterness and spice as well as a touch of mintiness in the finish. Finally, you’re greeted with a white grape ester that lingers after your sip. You’ll find this beer more bitter than our Slo Flo Pilsner. That’s because our Kolsch yeast is a high attenuator! Covington Kolsch is the beer our brewery was founded on. It is an easy drinking wheat ale with a slight citrus flavor and aroma from the German noble hops it is brewed with. It is fermented at higher ale temperatures, then cold conditioned like most lagers so you get the best of both worlds. A fruity aroma like an ale with a crisp, clean finish like a lager.
