"I don’t believe in hands-off winemaking because I believe that growing grapes and making wine by nature is pretty hands-on, but when I see and taste good grapes, I feel a responsibility if not an obligation to stay out of the way. That is the case here. The 2019 Potter Valley Pinot Noir is 50% Pommard and 50% 115 from the certified organic and biodynamic Vecino Vineyard in Potter Valley. Fermentation was carried out with native yeast, 70% whole cluster, 10% new French Oak and the Malolactic Fermentation proceeded spontaneously. 429 cases produced."

Our Rosé of Pinot Noir is from our two estate vineyards, the iconic Sanford & Benedict Vineyard and La Rinconada. After gently pressing the whole clusters, the lightly colored juice was fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. This technique retains the bright fruit character and crisp acidity. This salmon colored wine has enticing aromas of blood orange, wild strawberry, and rose petals.

100% old-vine Tempranillo from a perfectly ripe and not overly hot vintage this underwent malolactic fermentation and subsequent aging for two years in American oak. As with all wines from Familia Fernández Rivera, the wine is unfined and unfiltered. Deeply robed, densely fruity and richly tannic with floral cedar spice and a powerful, rounded finish.

This wine is a textbook example of a Tempranillo wine, with its red fruit flavors, but with the added spice aromas and deep color that the Petit Verdot brings to the blend. The result is a bold and full-bodied wine, perfect for everyday drinking.

Ironheart is the flagship Shiraz from our single vineyard estate at the northern edge of McLaren Vale. The vineyard’s cooler climate and sandy ironstone soils produce Shiraz with immense concentration and finesse. This red wine is made entirely from the Shiraz varietal and shows floral aromas with black fruit and pepper. Flavors of black fruits, cocoa nibs and smooth tannins make this wine complex and full bodied.

For a grape that is not at all common in the region, the Viognier is a splendid match for the soil in Dominio de Punctum's vineyard, where it finds the perfect conditions to thrive. With its natural aromatics and lush character, this Uno de Mil makes for an unforgettable drink.

Our GSM is a careful blending of Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre in which the composition varies from year to year, conveying the traditional estate blends of the southern Rhône. The backbone of the wine comes from our oldbush vine Grenache, which was planted in 1946. Yangarra is a biodynamic wine farm in the northeast of the McLaren Vale region in South Australia. Our philosophy centers around producing southern Rhone varietal wines only from our single vineyard estate that are an honest reflection of this special place.

A pale pink hue with a rich aroma of berry fruits, grapefruit, citrus rind and spring blossoms. This rosé is bright and balanced supported by rich and elegant flavors on the palate. The long refreshing finish is pleasant, ideally paired with shellfish but also a good accompaniment to lightly spicy dishes, summer salads or tender lamb. A rosé to age for up to 5 years. Varietal Composition: Grenache Noir (60%), Syrah (15%), Rolle (12%), Cinsault (5%) and Mourvedre (8%)

Royal Oaks and King’s Wood were forests planted by monarchs to build cathedrals and navies. Long term planning. The beautiful old French oak in these giant foudre vessels is perfect for schooling and gently, gradually polishing and protecting the brightest, spiciest Shiraz we grow on Yangarra. This red wine is made entirely from the Shiraz varietal and has floral aromas with notes of red fruit and oak. Elegant and layered flavors of bright cherry intermingled with toasted oak and a velvety finish.

Aliot de Montvin was an artisan glassblower of noble birth who named the estate “La Verrière,” or “The Glassblowing Workshop,” in 1427. By this time, vines had been grown on the slopes of the area for as many as four centuries during the Middle Ages. This wine is named in recognition of the artisan who gave name to the estate many years ago. Varietal Composition: 65% Roussanne, 30% Grenache Blanc, 5% Marsanne, touch of Viognier

The Rosso di Contrada is made from Nero d’Avola grapes from the vineyards planted in the Buonivini district, in the Val di Noto, with different soil chromaticity, exposure and gradients. Here the soils are calcareous and the vineyards are raised with the classic peacock alberello. The vinification is in steel with indigenous yeasts and long maceration of the must with the skins. Matured in barrels for at least a year, followed by a long refinement in the bottle. Rosso di Contrada is an intense ruby ​​red color. The nose is intense and complex, with hints of red fruit, floral and spicy notes. On the palate it is warm and full-bodied, with good freshness and soft tannins. Closes along with fruity notes.
