This wine was grown on the McCreanor Vineyard PrincessStreet, Martinborough from 27 year old vines. A combinationof slightly heavier soils and a blend of clones, 10/5, Abel andClone 5 always rewards us with this particular style; soft,ripe, pure fruit expressions in an exceedingly New WorldPinot Noir.

Medium-bodied and elegantly concentrated, the palate possesses layers of soft red berry fruit flavours melded with fragrant dark herbs, red florals, spices and liquorice. The fruit has a delicate richness and sweetness that is balanced by very fine-grained, flowery, but supple tannins and ripe acidity. The flavours blossom in floral lift and show spice detail as the wine carries to a gently lingering, nuanced finish. This is a very refined, subtly layered and supple, fine-grained Pinot Noir with delicate red fruits, florals herbs and spices.

Full, dark, deep ruby-red colour with youthful purple hues. The nose is very fresh and tightly concentrated with finely present aromas of ripe dark raspberry and cherry fruit with violet and red floral detail that grows in perfume and lift. Medium-full bodied, the palate is elegantly proportioned with beautifully concentrated and succulently sweet flavors of raspberries and dark cherry fruit, with the oaking and whole cluster componentry is very integrated and unobtrusive.
