This vintage has gained in depth. Magnificently deep purple, it offers ripe aromas of blackcurrant flowers and strawberry with touches of menthol and aniseed adding complexity to the finish. The Syrah, picked at full maturity, packs the palate with red fruit and spices whilst the Grenache confers elegance and smoothness. The wine’s suppleness and the self-assurance of its tannins are an agreeable surprise. The blending of a high-altitude parcel with another cool altitude terroir has resulted in a singular and atypical Corbières far from the conventional image of this appellation. It is highly enjoyable whilst young but will mellow nicely over time. This predominantly Syrah-based Corbieres displays a garnet red colour. An intense bouquet reveals notes of violets, bacon and peppered spices. The wine is already very soft, delicate and ripe, underpinned by a tannic structure with a well-balanced velvet texture. The qualities of this wine will delight every palate. Blend: 58% Syrah, 19% Carignan, 23% Grenache Noir

35% Grenache Noir, 35% Syrah, 30% Carignan. Concentrated aromas of black fruits and tapenade, with smoky, peppery undertones, followed by notes of raspberry. On the palate, there is a silky attack, with notes of pepper, blackberry and black olive, accentuating the robust quality of the wine. The tannins enhance the structure and structure. Raspberry flavors emerge on the finish.
