"If you have never tasted Grüner Veltliner before, this is a fabulous introduction. It has beautiful white peach aromas and flavours, with a seasoning of white pepper or even daikon, which is so characteristic of the variety. Great value! Weingut Pfaffl was awarded Wine Enthusiast European Winery of the Year in 2016"

Schplink-Gruner-Veltliner
As far as we know, there is no such word in German as Schplink. But if there's a bunch of consonants with one vowel and an umlaut, then any word can look Germanic. With electric yellow color, dot matrix font, and futuristic models from the 1980s, this box of Gruner will grab your attention and invite you into its digital world. However, the 11th generation winemaker Norbert Bauer is anything but a 21st-century phenomenon. The winery was founded back in 1721 in Pulkautal, Lower Austria, and is still going strong with traditional yet forward-thinking wines. In Schplink, Norbert & Gisela Bauer offer a Gruner that is so modern, refreshing, and tantalizing. The cool climate, hand-picked fruit (from vines that are up to 35 years-old) is fermented and aged in steel. Lightly fined and filtered before transferred to 3L boxes. Flavor Profile: Medium-bodied, dry. Bright lemon acidity, minerals, and aromatics that are perfect for hot summer days. Keep it in the fridge and pour yourself a glass or carafe to have with fish, mayo-based salads, cheeses, schnitzels, and sausages.

For the Cistercien Rosé, the Zweigelt and St. Laurent grape varieties grown in the cooler sites of Gobelburg and Langenlois are used. After the harvest, the grapes – still with their stems – are softly pressed and then fermented. This type of rosé is somewhat similar to a white wine because no acid reduction is used to emphasise the fine fruity character with a streamlined elegance. Its fragrance and fruit nuances of wild cherry and fresh berries make this Rosé an optimal universal food companion.

Lois-Gruner-Veltliner
Lois (rhyming with “choice”) is named after the village of Langenlois and was one of the first high-quality examples of Grüner Veltliner to be exported to international markets in 1999. Its intent is an easy-to-enjoy, fresh-tasting style of Grüner Veltliner produced from a combination of estate grown fruit and contracted growers in Lower Austria. Grüner Veltliner’s bright acidity and savory character make it and an ideal partner to mildly spiced Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese dishes. Fish and shellfish are accented by Grüner Veltliner’s citrus and mineral profile while its acidity cuts the richness of pork or ham. It can also work well with foods that are difficult to pair such as bitter greens and asparagus.
St Josef’s Pinot Noir

St-Josef’s-Pinot-Noir
Pinot Noir is known as the most fickle red grape. The Willamette Valleys soil and weather conditions have made it world renown. Our St Josef’s is 100% Pinot Noir done in a classic Burgundian style. Our Pommard vines (the original Pinot Noir clone brought in from France) develop a wine with beautiful garnet color and overtones of blackberry, pepper and spice. It remains true to the French tradition by not being too fruit forward, instead the flavor profiles of tobacco & oak balance the wine. Grown from our three estate vineyards, aged in both French and European Oak.

Numerous small-scale agricultural farms are scattered throughout the Traisental valley. Vineyards here are not much bigger than the average family garden – yet they are farmed with lots of love and care, because the age of vines and the uniqueness of the soil is an incredible treasure. The grapes harvested here are the foundation for some of the most important wines of the winery and of the region: Grüner Veltliner Traisental DAC and Riesling Traisental DAC. The climate of the Traisental valley is very similar to that of the Burgund - Reichersdorf lies along the same latitude as Beaune - and the area is blessed with cool nights and warm days. Because of this temperature induced interaction the development of the fruity flavours typical of these varietals becomes even more pronounced. Affected by their location, height and geological bedrock these vineyards produce outstanding wines and even with the passing of the years they can be identified by these unique vineyard characteristics. Notably the limestone mix soil found in the area produces outstanding Veltliner and Rieslings with unmistakable character and distinction. The clarity and minerality of the wines are an expression of the climate and the vineyards from which they originated. HUBER wines are unmistakable – characterized by their origins and by the vintner.

Loimer-Gruner-Veltliner-Kamptal
Grüner Veltliner Langenlois Kamptal DAC is intended to be a transparent snapshot of the varietal, the vintage, and most importantly the Kamptal itself. Grüner Veltliner is the signature grape of Austria and produces a dry white wine with savory aromas, spicy flavors, and good acidity. Young Grüner Veltliner is fresh-tasting with notes of green apple, lemon, radish, and arugula. Lighter styles of Grüner Veltliner are intended for immediate drinking, while more structured examples can age for many years. Grüner Veltliner’s bright acidity and savory character make it an ideal partner to mildly spiced Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese dishes. Fish and shellfish are accented by Grüner Veltliner’s citrus and mineral profile while its acidity cuts the richness of pork or ham. It can also work well with foods that are difficult to pair such as bitter greens and asparagus.
