The-Palm-by-Whispering-Angel-Rosé
Begin your journey down the road of rosé with The Palm by Whispering Angel. This authentic rosé from Provence operates as a playful, trendy, energetic “little sister” to Whispering Angel. The Palm is expressive both inside and out as it shows great aromatic freshness on the nose followed by more subtle, fruity notes on the palate. The colorful and playful label has been called “almost as perfect as the rosé itself”. Signed and approved by Whispering Angel.

The father to Pinotage and once the stalwart red variety of the South African wine industry, Cinsault has been recently rediscovered by Cape winemakers who want to create superbly drinkable wines marked by red fruit and spice aromas. Unfiltered and vegan, this wine starts with aromas of earthy, wild strawberries. The palate is light-medium in body with a soft finish.

Summer-Sault-Rosé
WAIANA ESTATE Waiana Estate’s terroir is in good company with Te Mata Estate adjacent to it on the other side of the Tukituki river and Craggy Range just a few minutes upstream. The name “Waiana” derives from the Maori words “Wai” which means water and “ana” which means continuous. Crudely translated the name effectively means “running waters” and is aptly named as the estate borders the Tukituki river in the Tukituki Valley in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Waiana Estate was acquired by the Plowman family in 1993. In total, the estate comprises 70 acres which have been extensively planted in woodlands areas almost from the day the land was purchased. The vineyards were subsequently established and planted in 2000, with initial plantings of Merlot and Malbec grapes. These vines are now well established and produce outstanding fruit. More land was acquired in 2006 and subsequent plantings have included both Grenache and Cinsault. Summer Sault is the sister rosé blend to Indian Summer. The classic Provençal grape, Cinsault is a key component of this unique wine. Cinsault grapes are a rarity in New Zealand and are the primary grape variety used in the vast majority of the very best Provençal rosés. Cinsault grapes provide a wonderfully aromatic blend and this will become a special wine as Waiana continues to build out its Cinsault capacity. Summer Sault will be held on lees until December to achieve maximum complexity and texture.

Domaine-Magellan-Le-Fruit-Defendu-Rouge
Red Fruit Défendu comes from a part of the vineyard where the grapes are smaller and more concentrated. The fruit is entirely destemmed and fermented in concrete tanks with pumping over and punching of the cap. Vatting duration is short, at 10-12 days, and all the grapes are picked by hand. The perfect complement to all grilled foods as well as white meats such as roast guinea fowl, rabbit with mustard and Normandy-style poultry or veal.
