2013 Vintage: Extremely aromatic with blueberries, blackberries, and flowers. Full- bodied, dense, and rich yet agile and exciting. The tannins are seamless and beautiful. The finish shows stones and spices. The ancient mourvedre in the blend gives this wine elegance. Incredible depth. So drinkable now but goes on for minutes. Fantastic Hommage from a more challenging vintage. 98 - James Suckling

Very dark in color. The nose is very delicate and powerful at the same time, with red fruit, blackcurrants, blackberries, spices, thyme and lavender. The bouquet is very elegant, rich and round, with figs, cherries, blackcurrants and stewed fruit, all with great acidity. The tannins are present but very delicate.

Chateau-Mont-Thabor-Chateauneuf-du-Pape
A floral and elegant vintage, this deep wine is ready to be enjoyed now. The name Mont Thabor was given to the Chateau by a mystic monk, Don Pernety, who was a founder of a Catholic cult and a seeker after the magical "philosopher's stone'. He had brought from Israel's holy Mont Thabor a seedling tree. Once planted, he chose to name the Chateau Mont Thabor. After the agitations of the French Revolution, it all passed from the Church into private hands. In 1840 a certain Mr. Poulain acquired the property and transformed it into a "Relais de Poste'" where the stagecoaches carrying mail and the carriages bearing private citizens could stop for the night to rest. The eccentric and romantic Mr. Poulain was buried on the property and the heart of his mistress was placed in his casket. We presume that his passing was due to the grief caused by the death of his lover.

Clos-de-L’Oratoire-des-Papes-Châteauneuf-du-Pape-Rouge-Les-Choregies
Created in 1880, the 'Clos de l'Oratoire des Papes' is an iconic wine from the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation. The story began when Edouard Amouroux obtained the famous plot of Syrah vines, through his marriage, located at the place known as Tresquoy. The property owes its name to the oratory dedicated to St Mark which stands on the edge of the plot. This terroir's great quality helped this wine to quickly become a leading product of the appellation. "Les Choregies" is a selection of the best and oldest plots of 'Clos de l'Oratoire des Papes': Galets Roulés: 1 ha of 60-year old Grenache vines (« Lagrande »); 1 ha of 30-year old Syrah (« La Bigote »); Safres: 1 ha of old Grenache vines (« Les Saintes Vierges » & « Pignan »)

The production of white wine at Beaucastel is limited as we only have 7 hectares of white vines planted. Handpicked in small cases, sorting of the grapes, pneumatic pressing, settling of the juice, fermentation (30% in oak barrels, 70% in tanks) for 8 months. Bottling after 8 months. Roussanne : 80% Grenache blanc : 15% Picardan, Clairette, Bourboulenc : 5% "The 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc takes it up a notch, offering rocking notes of white peach, quince, crushed rocks, and honeysuckle. It’s medium to full-bodied, with a beautiful core of sweet fruit, a layered texture, and a great finish. It’s unquestionably another beautiful wine, and while 2018 was challenging for the whites, you wouldn’t know it by tasting this." 93-95/100 - Jeb Dunnuck - 2019

On average the vines are 50 years of age. The grapes are destemmed. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats. Malolactic fermentation takes place in used oak tanks. Domaine-La-Milliere-Chateauneuf-du-Pape-Vieilles-Vignes
A dynamic, savory and stunningly pure wine that captures all the saturated richness of the 2009 vintage without the excess; it may be better than the estate's stunning 2007 and will certainly reward a hundredfold in a cool cellar. Precise, peppery aromas and the complexity of Moroccan spices show on the expressive nose; the mouth delivers cherries, licorice and colorful peppercorns yet retains a purity and balance that seems almost magical considering its flavorful concentration. The estate's stony terroir (the classic Châteauneuf "galets roules") are present in the nose and finish, a mineral edge that keeps every sip lively and well-defined. A heady blend of 70% Grenache, 8% Mourvèdre, 8% Syrah, 8% Cinsault and 6% Counoise, aged completely in the family's older foudre.

The nose is gorgeous with red fruits (blackberries, redcurrants), figs, black pepper and spices. The mouth isround and lush with a lot of flesh and intensity, backed by a great graphite spine. It displays aromas of blue fruits, porcinimushrooms, black truffles and mourvedre meaty components. The wine is long and round with intense tanins that are alreadysoft but will hold the wine for the next 20-30 years.
