Sipsmith-V.J.O.P.-Gin
It has an opaque, reddish/brown hue, a full, voluptuous body and a wafting bouquet of red cherries, plums, vanilla and marzipan. On the palate, the 58-proof liqueur presents a balanced offering of tart red berries, ripe plums, citrus and cassis with semisweet raisins on the lingering finish.

For some it is the ultimate gin, with a rich but very balanced taste that takes a Martini or a Gin and Tonic to a new level. Perfect for the demands of today's more adventurous spirit drinkers and mixologists. The 57% ABV amplifies the aroma and fragrance of the botanicals, yet retains the smooth and balanced character Plymouth Gin is renowned for.

New York Distilling Company is a Brooklyn-based operation, created by Tom Potter, co-founder of the famed Brooklyn Brewery. The earliest distilleries in Brooklyn date back to the 1700s, and during Prohibition there were supposedly over 50,000 illicit stills within New York City. New York Distilling Company contributes to this rich heritage by creating products of exceptional quality and dedicating them to iconic New Yorkers who greatly influenced the city's history. Matthew Calbraith Perry served as Commandant of the Brooklyn Navy Yard from 1841 through 1843. However, as early as 1833 he was instrumental in founding the Naval Lyceum to "promote the diffusion of useful knowledge – and cement the link which unite professional brethren." New York Distilling Company's "Perry's Tot" Navy Strength Gin is bottled at 57% ABV - the historical proof at which gunpowder may still be fired should it unfortunately be soaked by spilled spirit. Infused with juniper, orange, grapefruit, lemon, angelica, coriander, anise, cinnamon, cardamom and wildflower honey, this smooth, aromatic gin is ideal for the gin aficionado.

A novel two-step process launches Conniption Navy Strength Gin into the world, setting a course for a gin that is enticingly intense yet surprisingly balanced. It all starts with a gin base produced from vapor infusion in our custom-designed German pot still. Botanicals, like Indian coriander, caraway, rosemary, and cardamom, are cleverly added to juxtapose with the depth of juniper and cassia. Finally, the fresh, sweet accents of citrus and fig are individually vacuum distilled at room temperature then blended into the gin base for an aromatic and bright finish that is simultaneously smooth and powerful.

Founded in LA by Matthew Alper and actor Walton Goggins, our Double-Gold Medal New World Gin is distilled six times from 100% non-GMO corn is gluten-free and brims with a bright cucumber and juniper bouquet, but that's just the beginning. An intense burst of lime follows as the glass touches your lips and then a complex mix of our lavender florals appear — the juniper rounds out the palate before citrus and vanilla come roaring back. Our navy strength gin is named for the distiller's Great Grandpa Gustaf, a steely-eyed Swede who, with his wife Anna Christine, started the family farm in 1917. At 114 proof, navy strength gin occupies a storied place in the annals of British Naval history. The daily ration of gin or rum was only allowed on board if the proof was high enough to ensure that if the liquor drenched the gun powder at sea it would still ignite.

Just like days when you need a sweatshirt on the beach, we’ve added a layer of warm and comforting flavors to our original gin. The gin is barreled at full distillation strength (180 proof) for three months in three different kinds of twice-used barrels: Ex-bourbon Apple Brandy, Ex-bourbon Rum, Ex-bourbon Sea Salt. The results are blended and diluted to 101 proof and rested in stainless steel for six weeks before bottling. Without the heavy oak and char qualities of new barrels, the familiar botanical notes of Bimini Gin are enhanced rather than overshadowed. The citrusy notes of hops and grapefruit are intensified with hints of salinity. The juniper upfront mingles with tree fruit in the middle palate and then subsides into a lingering caramel and vanilla finish.

#10. Bristow Reserve Barrel Aged Gin

Deep and rich flavor profile, pure & botanical finish. Bristow Reserve spends 1 year in new 53 gallon American oak barrels, char #3. The use of larger oak barrels allows for the gin’s juniper intensity to mellow out, while also adding notes of caramel and some hints of spice. The aging also allows for the aromatics of the botanicals to integrate into the gin. We believe that at 113 proof this gin is very approachable. Allowing for plenty of flavors from the oak, but not disrespecting the original Bristow flavors.
