Sipsmith-V.J.O.P.-Gin
It has an opaque, reddish/brown hue, a full, voluptuous body and a wafting bouquet of red cherries, plums, vanilla and marzipan. On the palate, the 58-proof liqueur presents a balanced offering of tart red berries, ripe plums, citrus and cassis with semisweet raisins on the lingering finish.

For some it is the ultimate gin, with a rich but very balanced taste that takes a Martini or a Gin and Tonic to a new level. Perfect for the demands of today's more adventurous spirit drinkers and mixologists. The 57% ABV amplifies the aroma and fragrance of the botanicals, yet retains the smooth and balanced character Plymouth Gin is renowned for.

New York Distilling Company is a Brooklyn-based operation, created by Tom Potter, co-founder of the famed Brooklyn Brewery. The earliest distilleries in Brooklyn date back to the 1700s, and during Prohibition there were supposedly over 50,000 illicit stills within New York City. New York Distilling Company contributes to this rich heritage by creating products of exceptional quality and dedicating them to iconic New Yorkers who greatly influenced the city's history. Matthew Calbraith Perry served as Commandant of the Brooklyn Navy Yard from 1841 through 1843. However, as early as 1833 he was instrumental in founding the Naval Lyceum to "promote the diffusion of useful knowledge – and cement the link which unite professional brethren." New York Distilling Company's "Perry's Tot" Navy Strength Gin is bottled at 57% ABV - the historical proof at which gunpowder may still be fired should it unfortunately be soaked by spilled spirit. Infused with juniper, orange, grapefruit, lemon, angelica, coriander, anise, cinnamon, cardamom and wildflower honey, this smooth, aromatic gin is ideal for the gin aficionado.

Conniption-Navy-Strength-Gin
A novel two-step process launches Conniption Navy Strength Gin into the world, setting a course for a gin that is enticingly intense yet surprisingly balanced. It all starts with a gin base produced from vapor infusion in our custom-designed German pot still. Botanicals, like Indian coriander, caraway, rosemary, and cardamom, are cleverly added to juxtapose with the depth of juniper and cassia. Finally, the fresh, sweet accents of citrus and fig are individually vacuum distilled at room temperature then blended into the gin base for an aromatic and bright finish that is simultaneously smooth and powerful.

While the Overproof starts with the same botanical make-up and production as Bimini Gin, it maintains a different balance of flavors because it is completely unfiltered. In particular, the juniper is more robust up front and the hops more clearly defined in the middle palate.

This Navy Strength Gin is one of the best in the business. This Navy Strength has added fresh finger native limes, fresh ginger to the original Rare Dry Gin recipe. Bringing bright citrus and delicious spice to the gin. Throwing in turmeric then added an earthy quality and weight to the palate. The resulting gin, bottled at a mighty 58.8% ABV, is intense but still very pure, clean and balanced. It works perfectly in a simple G & T, or a classic gimlet, a spicy ginger mule or sour. A bartenders dream. Additional accolades - Navy Strength Gin has now been awarded Master status at the Global Gin Masters FIVE times (2015 to 2019). Must have gin. Four Pillars distillery was named "International Gin Producer of the Year" - 2019 and 2020 (IWSC). Considered the Oscars of the wine and spirits industry.

This is a high abv gin, but you wouldn’t know it from the aroma. It is beautifully light and fresh upfront, with a delicate piney juniper profile balanced by lemon zest and a gentle contribution from coriander and cardamon. Hints of mustard seed and corn spirit float in just at the end for a surprising but pleasing twist.

Proudly distilling Baltimore City’s first gin since prohibition. Not piney, like a London Dry gin, our gin is floral and sweet, with jasmine flower on the nose and citrus on the pallet. Our unique bitters profile really sets the finish apart and rounds out this gin. Bottled on the strong-side at 100 percent proof, this gin stands up beautifully to dilution in cocktails. We frequently drink it neat. Gin-avoiders and gin-lovers alike have a friend in our Shot Tower Gin.

In 2014, Pickering’s became the official gin sponsor of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. To mark the occasion, they released a Naval Strength edition, also affectionately known as the bearskin gin. Navy strength is so called because you can still fire your gunpowder if you spill your drink on it. Or as Pickering’s likes to say, you get more bang for your buck.

As fourteen earthy botanicals danced and became one, the Abyss was born. Characterized by immensely deep tones of juniper, cedar tips and rosemary, our Gin also highlights nuances of sweet grass, wild cherry bark and bilberries. Complex in taste while true to its history, Gin drinkers rejoice.

Leopold’s Navy Strength American Gin ($39, 57% / 114 proof) is anything but subtle on the nose. Whereas the small batch gin lures you in with soft, supple notes, the Navy Strength declares itself from the first whiff. The fact that Leopold’s used double the juniper with this gin is extremely apparent on the nose, which is extremely floral. Even at this high proof the nose shows off Todd Leopold’s impecable distilling, and while strong, isn’t overly vapory

Cadenhead's Old Raj Gin is distinctive in that it contains a measure of saffron, the rare and costly spice derived from the crocus flower. In addition to a slightly spicy flavour, this also imparts a pale yellow colour to Old Raj. The addition of saffron is undertaken personally by the Company master blender in order to ensure a consistency in flavour and colour each time Old Raj is bottled.

This is for cocktails. (And for those that want the extra oomph.) Bottled at 57%, this isn’t just about making a more potent potable. The concentration of botanical oils also rises with the proof, making a gin that can stand out in all cocktails, yet still sippable on its own. Though, perhaps with ice at your ready! Profile: Powerful, though incredibly approachable in any gin cocktail. 57% Alc.By Vol.

EXPLOSIVE FLAVORS CREATE MAGICAL COCKTAILS For our concerns, Navy Strength means, quite simply, more flavor. A bigger, bolder canvas to imbue with our botanicals – juniper and a selection of Nordic berries give your cocktails an unforgettable kick. We have updated the classic Navy Strength gin recipe with better, bolder ingredents and unforgettable flavor. The blend of organic juniper, Nordic berries, botanicals and Purity’s over-proof 34 times distilled spirit results in a striking, delicious blast of flavor adding real character to any cocktail. We have the British Navy to thank for Navy Strength gin. Other than it being an officially sanctioned ration – rum for enlisted men and gin for the officers – the history of this particular spirit has a few other interesting details. Technically, gin with more than 57.14% alcohol is considered Navy Strength. The reason for the high alcohol content is a practical one. Historically, gin and rum were stored in wooden barrels together with gunpowder. If either of the barrels started to leak and soaked into the gunpowder, the alcohol content had to be at least 57.14%. Anything below that and the gunpowder wouldn’t burn. The “proof” of the spirit meant the powder was safe and the gin good enough to be served to the officers.

500 ml bottle of Elephant Strength Gin (57%). Whilst the Elephant London Dry Gin and Elephant Strength Gin share the same fourteen botanicals, including rare African ingredients, to create their distinctive flavour profiles, the latter uses twice the quantity of botanicals and has an ABV of 57%. The botanical focus is also specifically centred around juniper, orange peel, mountain pine and African buchu, with its blackcurrant-like flavour profile. The result is a more powerful nose and taste - without losing the silky-smooth character that the Elephant London Dry Gin has become celebrated for. Elephant Gin donates 15% of bottle profits to elephant conservation foundations.

Far-North-Gustaf-Gin
Our navy strength gin is named for the distiller's Great Grandpa Gustaf, a steely-eyed Swede who, with his wife Anna Christine, started the family farm in 1917. At 114 proof, navy strength gin occupies a storied place in the annals of British Naval history. The daily ration of gin or rum was only allowed on board if the proof was high enough to ensure that if the liquor drenched the gun powder at sea it would still ignite.

This is an unapologetic NAVY STRENGTH gin, so we’ve turned up the juniper and balanced it out with bold botanicals. The flavor punches through in any cocktail. Experimentation is everything; so sip it, mix it, but most of all enjoy it. We say, it’s not where you start, it’s where you ENDUP.
