“Sarpa” in Venetian dialect means “grape-pomace”, the raw material from which Grappa is made. Sarpa di Poli is obtained from the pomace of grape varieties with floral and delicately herbaceous aromas, distilled by means of steam in a pot-still working in small batches.

Alexander Platinum is a full-bodied grappa, obtained by a triple distillation of steam stills, continuous of the mark obtained after the wine-making process of Amarone, the famous wine of Valpolicella. It is a distillate of full body, which should be consumed in a balloon glass at room temperature to enhance the aroma. Additionally, it can be consumed in a special graduated glass, diluted with cold water, in order to taste the grappa with varying alcohol content. The original platinum-colored bottle was designed by Sandro Bottega in 2001, which enhances the exceptional quality of this product. This effect is mirrored by the grand visual impact, as reflected light draws your attention, arousing immediate curiosity.

Grappa is a unique and exclusively Italian spirit distilled from fresh wine grape pomace. Carpene Malvolti’s Grappa is a spirit obtained using only solid raw materials and is distilled in steam heated copper alembics (pot stills). The rigorous selection of the pomace to be used takes place in the finest zones of the Conegliano Veneto Hills. This 'Riserva' version has been aged in small oak casks.

Grappo Piave Selezione Cuore stems from the numerous years experience of the Maestri Distillatori in Conegliano Veneta, the Homeland of grappa, who carefully select the dregs of pressed grapes coming from the most famous wine growing areas, using it to make a product which is unique in its kind. In fact during distillation the "heads" rich in methyl alcohol and the ,"tails" full of primary alcohol, giving an unpleasam flavour, are discarded.
