American Blonde

Los Angeles Ale Works celebrates the LA Phil 100 with a Brut IPA that spotlights dynamic aromas of Los Angeles. Aptly named Centennial hops provide bright notes of lemon peel and mountain pine, while New Zealand Wakatu hops counterpoint with lime and honey fragrances. Inspired by the pastoral groves that blanketed our landscape during the LA Phil’s founding, we packed this beer with juicy orange zest. Adding Jasmine rice to our Pilsner malt bill dries out the beer and delivers a light grain-scented finale. Voodoo is a heavily dry-hopped American Pale Ale, which relies on flaked wheat and oats to enhance the tropical and fruit flavors provided by the hops. Expect melon, passion fruit, tangelo, and pine flavors and aromas from the use of Citra and Simcoe hops. Heavy dry-hopping and the use of oats and wheat result in a naturally hazy beer.

Inspired by Nicaragua’s Cerro Negro, Central America's youngest and most active volcano, our Horchata Milk Stout highlights the bitterness of dark roasted malts, while being balanced by milk sugars, cacao, Madagascar bourbon vanilla, and the explosive flavor of Ceylon cinnamon. A delicious tribute to the traditional Horchata drink sold in Latin American marketplaces.
