Seasonal Ale

Our golden orange-colored Pumpkin Ale is brewed with pumpkin and spices to produce a delicious taste of fall. This mild ale has little bitterness and a malty backbone. The spicy characteristics take the lead in this roasty beer and its tremendous depth of character will keep you warm during the fall season.

St.Bernardus Christmas Ale is a dark seasonal brewed in the classic 'Quadrupel' style of Belgium's best Abbey Ales. (10,0 % ABV) Similar to all the beers from our brewery, it greets the drinker with the signature aroma of the St.Bernardus house yeast strain (in use since 1946!) Rivaling the complexity of the St.Bernardus Abt 12, St.Bernardus Christmas Ale offers a spicy, mint-like flavor profile exuding the tastes of warming alcohol, fermented molasses, apricots, licorice and marzipan that are highligted by the perfect balance of brewing sugars.

Our Winter Ale is a hearty, robust amber ale. We use pale, Vienna, crystal and chocolate malts to create a balanced character of malt and hops with just the right amount of spice to warm you up during the colder months.

Fruity, ale character with undertones of banana and clove.

Just love making IPA's, so here's another one that uses the hop blend called Zythos that is just delicious and should be enjoyed with a blow-up doll or something similiar.

Only the finest Belgian grains were brewed with Belgian candied sugar and orange blossom honey from the Bermuda Triangle then aged for several months to produce a bright, golden ale bursting with flavors of lemon, spice, and a touch of that orange blossom honey sweetness. This is an ale that is deceptively smooth and easy drinking, so be careful not to lose yourself in the flavors of Bermuda Triangle.

Mankato Brewery’s Imperial Red Ale is made to warm you up during the last dregs of winter. Brewed with brown sugar and sweet orange peel, complimented with flavors of caramel, raisin, and a hint of hops.

Heres what I've been goofin around with for a while. I love belgian wits on hot summer days (or freezin your butt off days). Anyway I took a witbier and threw in a bunch of hibiscus flowers to make it even better. Tart and refreshing, with a hint of fart.

Winter Seasonal

This French-style saison is a previous Brewer’s Reserve beer that has been promoted to the seasonal line up. This slightly dry beer has earthy notes, plus some extra flavor from added lemongrass and red and white peppercorns. Available May - June.

Don't let the name throw you, our Pumpkin Ale has a lore all its own. This mythically inspired brew is chock full of roasted pumpkin, brown sugar, cinnamon and more.

First brewed in 2011 and released each October, Retribution is full-bodie and jet black with a small tan head and a complex flavor profile of dark chocolate, coffee, smoky malt, and dark fruit, concealing a massive, warming 11.2% abv. After fermentation, Retribution was aged for 6 months inside of bourbon barrels made from charred American White Oak and carefully monitored for 6 months before being bottled in individual runs from each barrel, making the beer from each barrel a unique drinking experience. The resulting Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, infused with aromas and flavors of charred oak, vanilla and caramelized sugar, is a testament to craft brewing, and a physical manifestation of patience justified.

Refreshing American Wheat Ale brewed with a hint of watermelon. This brew has a noticeable watermelon aroma, but the actual flavor of the fruit is mild and balanced. Tin Roof Watermelon Wheat is perfect for our sweltering Southern summers.

Our American IPA gets its bold hop flavor from 100% American hops and its deep gold and full body from pale and crystal malted barley. A blend of Amarillo, Centennial and Simcoe hop varietals imparts AIPA with bitterness and prominent aromas of citrus and fruit. Our brewers select these hops on an annual pilgrimage to the hop farms of Pacific Northwest. IPAs (India Pale Ales) were first brewed in England during the late 1700s for export overseas to British soldiers in India. To keep their beer from spoiling during the long voyage, English brewers fortified their traditional pale ale recipes with natural preservatives: more malted barley, for a higher alcohol content, and more hops. In recent decades, with growing appreciation for highly hopped beers, American craft brewers have revived the style, embraced it, and incorporated new hop varieties. Our Special Release IPAs further those traditions and showcase the distinctions of hops from different hemispheres.

Alaskan Blonde Ale is a classic American blonde: easy-drinking and approachable, with low-to-moderate hops and malt and a delicately sweet, biscuity character. Originally brewed for the Saint Paul Jazz Fest, this lightly hopped, malty session ale, won't leave you too tired or full to make the after party. A refreshing beverage for anyone who loves good beer, whether you're enjoying while out and about with friends on a long, hot summer day or staying in on a cool fall night, if you have one of these in your hand, you're definitely where the party is at.

Fisherman’s Pumpkin Stout is a dark stout accentuated by flavors of the Autumn season. Using real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice, the Cape Ann Brewing Company took a fresh take at the common fall seasonal. This rich dark stout offers an inviting pumpkin spice aroma that gives way to the delicate essence of real pumpkin.

Our Raspberry Hefeweizen is a true fruit beer, not a fruit-flavored beer. We add pureed raspberries to our Hefeweizen during the primary fermentation process. Although we add no sugar, color or flavors, the resulting beer is a hazy pink color, with citrus aromas from the wheat and a flavor that is neat and tart. While this beer is low in bitterness, it is not overwhelmingly sweet, making it a thoroughly drinkable beer for the season. In Belgium, fruit beers are quite popular and brewers often include wheat, along with malted barley. While our Raspberry Hefeweizen is not a true Belgian fruit beer, we have carried on the tradition of adding real fruit to fermenting beer. Today, many beers with fruit character are made with a fruit extract; we prefer to use the actual fruit to avoid any chemical or artificially sweet undertones in the beer.

At Weyerbacher, we’ve created a Winter Ale that is a must for any malty beer lover. Winner of a Silver Medal in the 1998 World Beer Championships, Weyerbacher Winter Ale is brewed with deep-roasted chocolate malt. The taste predominates with a warm, roasty flavor, balanced out with a slightly dry finish. It’s smooth but not cloying, with a warming belt of alcohol, 5.6% ABV. Although winter ales predate history, they are believed to have their origin in the pagan celebrations of winter solstice. Later, when monasteries produced the local brew, winter ales were made each year to commemorate the birth of Christ. Back then, winter ales were brewed full-bodied as a source of nutrition for the upcoming winter months. Today, winter ales are typified by their seasonality, their rich, malty flavors and by their deep, dark coloration. Winter Ale is the perfect libation for a winter meal, with good friends, or beside a warm fire fending off a cold winter night.
