Brewed once a year, and only available while supplies last, Oktoberfest Bier is the pinnacle of German brewing: deep golden color, full-bodied and wonderfully mellow, with a balanced harmonious taste and the pleasant fragrance of hops.

Ancient timelines talk of dark days, plagued by hardships and Kingdom demands. When hope was all but lost, a legend emerged. A plumber. With copper pipes and an uncanny wit, he battled fierce foes and saw to the brewery’s opening. Our Octoberfest is malty, smooth and exceedingly drinkable. It is perfect to celebrate and honor today’s legends. We use locally grown wheat from MA, Munich malt and noble hops.

Millions of visitors from all over the world flock along every year to enjoy its very special atmosphere. For this occasion, Hofbräu brews a rich, full-bodied beer which goes down ideally with traditional Bavarian cuisine. With its deliciously bitter taste and alcoholic content of 6.3% volume, Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier is as special as the Beer Festival itself.

Paulaner’s Oktoberfest Märzen is available all year but was made for the Oktoberfest celebration. This full-bodied bier with its rich malt flavor and dark toffee notes, has an underlying fruitiness and masterful hop balance.

Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Steinbier celebrates classic German festbiers. We brew it exclusively with German malts and hops, and then lager it in tanks for six weeks per German tradition. It sips full-bodied and clean, with hearty flavors of fresh bread and a refreshing zip of noble hops. Your treat in a stein every time - prost!

This German-style Oktoberfest is a modern take on the traditional fall brew, bringing together Los Angeles street style and beer with the custom design from Steven Harrington. Medium-bodied, nice and caramelly with a smooth finish.

Prost Märzen is a deep orange, malty lager. Originally, it was brewed in March (Maerz). In the days before refrigeration, this was the last month to brew before the weather was too warm. Later, the Oktoberfest celebration was the perfect event to drink the last of the Maerz beer and start brewing again. Starting in the 1970’s the Munich brewers started making paler versions of the Oktoberfest biers. The beer now is a kicked up Helles bier brewed to a slightly higher gravity. At Prost we make a more traditional Märzenbier. Our Märzenbier is orange in color, with a rich malt profile from the abundant use of Vienna and Munich malts.

Original Schlenkerla Smokebeer - Märzen Bamberg's speciality, a dark, bottom fermented smokebeer, brewed with Original Schlenkerla Smokemalt from the Schlenkerla maltings and tapped according to old tradition directly from the gravity-fed oakwood cask in the historical brewery tavern. Blink and you’ll think you’re in Bavaria. We went all in on tradition with our Oktoberfest, using imported German malts and hops with a beautiful lager yeast for the finish. Pours a gorgeous copper hue with a rich, malty and slightly sweet backbone. Our version is akin to the beer poured in the early days of Oktoberfest and, yes, it adheres to the Reinheitsgebot. Prost!

This festbier is a celebration of Foolproof’s annual Augtoberfest festival, which we host at our brewery in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Augtoberfest is brewed with caramel and Munich malt as well as American hops and is fermented cool to produce a clean, refreshing flavor. Prost!

“O’ ZAPFT IS!” Every year, the Mayor of Munich Kicks off Oktoberfest by tapping the first keg and then declaring “O’ZAPFT IS!” (Translation: “IT IS TAPPED!” ) And boy do they ever tap. Oktoberfest revelers have appetites like lions - consuming about 440,000 sausages and 1.75 Million gallons of beer. This session Marzen is perfect for prolonged revelry, with rich malty flavor and 4.6% alcohol for good times all day long.

Our Octoberfest Marzen Lager is a rich,ruby colored lager fest beer that is extremely smooth and mellow. We use only the finest Munich malts and spicy German Hops to our Octoberfest its wonderful aromas and full bodied flavor. Best serverd at 55ºF in a beer stein. Available August-September.

A heft, full-bodied lager reminiscent of Marzen beers from days gone by. Konstantin is a rich, light-ruby colored seasonal lager. Double-decocted for complexity. Drier and lighter in color than most German-style Märzens, biscuit and bread-like malt note shine in the flavor and aroma.
