Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-poured white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time,goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

In 1867, the Leinenkugel family brewery was founded in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin by Jacob Leinenkugel. He knew that his German family heritage would play an integral part of his brewery’s success. Today, the sixth generation of Leinenkugel’s continues to brew the same German-inspired recipes that Jacob poured his heart and soul into. Over the years, our family has grown and so has our brewery, but history and heritage remain at the forefront. Featuring a touch of real Wisconsin honey, Leinenkugel’s Honey Weiss is a golden-hued Weiss beer inspired by a classic German style. Leinenkugel's beers are perfect for making any occasion inviting, fun, and relaxing whether its with friends, family, or taking some alone time.

A lighter style American Wheat. Black Dog’s Crystal Weiss is an American version of a classic German style Kristall Weizen. This "crystal clear", cold filtered wheat beer is mildly hopped resulting in a refreshing and drinkable beer that can be enjoyed during any season. Initially contract brewed for Spanish Peaks Brewing Co at City Brewery - WI, in 2009 the production was moved to Olde Saratoga in NY and Butte Creek in CA.
