(12/2013) "A real winner is the 2012 Zinfandel (15.5% alcohol). Aged 16 months in 75% French oak and 25% new American oak, it exhibits a big, sweet kiss of black currants and black cherries intermixed with pepper, spice, lavender, charcuterie and bouquet garni notes. Its gorgeous texture, full-bodied mouthfeel and luscious finish suggest it can be enjoyed over the next 3-4 years."
