Our Castle Rock Zinfandel is made from grapes grown in California’s Lodi region, recognized as a premium growing location since the 1850’s. Here, the long dry summers and cool moist winters pair with the deep sandy clay loam soils to provide ideal growing conditions.
The full-bodied wine has outstanding complexity and character with flavors of blackberry, raspberry and plum mixed with pepper, spice and earth, with a soft lingering finish. It provides an excellent accompaniment to grilled chicken, steak or lamb and most pasta dishes.
