Dense purple-black with inky middle. Currants and blueberry jam in the concentrated nose, chocolate cherries and cinnamon plums behind. Powerful palate with soft tannins and good Merlot reclining extract, warming up and bouffant in the velvety acting center, again ripe black and blue fruit, complex and enormous reserves showing nutty pflaumiges finale, a long finish. The Biodynamic flagship Bonterra. Is clearly one of the best wines in the United States.
