And a full bodied palate characterised by firm tannins with a savoury, masculine finish.

Light field straw in color. On the nose, intense citrus and white nectarine fruit is overlayed with sutble vanillan oak. Layers of complexity evolve in the glass. This Chardonnay has concentrated fruit flavors of grapefruit are balanced by wonderful natural acidity. The fruit intensity is complimented by by precise oak and careful maturation. Crisp, mouth filling and incredible length provide balance which will be rewarded with time.

From Victoria's first vineyard comes Little Yering, a bright, youthful and delicious Pinot Noir from Victoria's home for the variety, the Yarra Valley. Sourced from vineyards in the upper Yarra and the valley floor itself to provide a perfect balance between lifted aromas and notes of savouriness along with lush, rich and mouth-filling juice from the flats.

Pale straw yellow with green tints. Complex aromas of fresh peaches, grapefruit rind and cinnamon combine with crème anglaise and subtle toasty characters. Stone fruit and citrus blossom flavors develop on the palate and are enhanced by a creamy textured mid-palate derived from five months of lees stirring. Subtle flint and savoury flavours extend the palate and provide a fresh, crisp and lingering finish.

As the La Niña conditions of 2011 continued in weakened form, the winter of 2011 was warmer than average and the Peninsula experienced about 20 to 30% above average rainfall. Budburst was early and the spring temperatures were close to, albeit slightly above average; humidity was elevated also. Rainfall was again above average but conditions were fundamentally more manageable than the previous season. Early growth was good although inflorescences were small. Flowering and fruit set went well as summer brought in some welcome drier conditions. The ripening period was average to slightly cooler than average and rainfall was frequent leading up to harvest though there weren’t any significant problems with disease. Harvest was a little early, particularly for Pinot Noir as bunch sizes were limited by the previous cold summer; this lowering of yields was more pronounced with the more elevated, cooler sites on the Peninsula.

Domaine Terlato & Chapoutier is a collaboration between legendary French wine grower, Michel Chapoutier and wine industry icon, Anthony Terlato. The single vineyard L-Block is from a tiny ‘L’ shaped plot that survived the 13 year drought without irrigation. South facing and at an altitude of 400m, this is a low yielding and cool block. The wine is powerful and intense but with delicate, fine tannins.

This white wine (viognier) is produced from a single vineyard and like the Guilty only a “lucky few will ever get to taste it”.

Deepish red/purple colour, bright. Fresh, clean plummy aromas laced with a subtle touch of oak. The palate is rich and textural, with a good balance of savoury and fruity elements. Quite deep and fleshy, with fruit sweetness hiding behind ample tannins and lots of flavour depth.

Salmon pink in color with a semi-sweet palate filled with red berries, melon, pear and floral notes. Lower in alcohol, this is the perfect introduction for new wine drinkers, or to sip on the porch with friends. Enjoy chilled and try pairing with spicy foods or desserts.
