Chenin Blanc Brilliant clear yellow. Seductive nose with lovely fruit aromas (pear, pineapple) and delicate floral notes. Smooth on the palate with a nice refreshing finish. To be enjoyed as an aperitif or with smoked fish, Asian dishes, creamy cheese. Best served between 8°C and 10°C / 46°F and 50°F. Vegan friendly.

"Attitude" has a beautiful freshness in mouth, a frank attack, delicate green and lemon flavors, citrus fruits, green apple, and kiwi aromas. The minerality gives a long finish to the wine, a smoothness and elegance. Made with the same attention to detail as Jolivet’s great Sancerres, this wine is made from grapes grown outside the appellation. The wine offers expressive floral and fruit aromas on the nose, then freshness and minerality on the palate. This is textbook Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire. Pascal Jolivet’s philosophy is to let nature take its course as much as possible. The juices are fermented with wild yeasts in stainless steel tanks with thermoregulation and he uses organic techniques in all his vineyards. About the Brand: Domaine Pascal Jolivet was founded in 1987 and is one of the most dynamic domaines in France’s Loire Valley. Based in Sancerre, the domaine now owns over 120 acres of prime vineyards spread across the appellations of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. Chenin Blanc is a versatile white-wine grape variety that has been cultivated in France for nearly 1300 years. It is most commonly associated with France's Loire Valley, and its high acidity levels mean it can be vinified in a number of different styles: as lusciously sweet, botrytis-affected dessert wines, light, honeyed sparkling wines and as full-bodied, still white wines.

Clos Roussely is a beautiful and historic winery dug into the side of a small hill in the Touraine-Chenonceaux appellation. Originally constructed as a storage facility for a nearby castle, it was converted into a winery in 1917 by Anatole Roussely. Anatole’s great-grandson Vincent now runs the operation. The vineyards are planted literally on top of Clos Roussely in the center of the village of Agné. Vincent prefers to use a more natural approach in his farming and winemaking. The vines are farmed organically without any chemicals and the soil is tilled by horse. Once harvested by hand the wine is left to ferment in the Clos without additional yeasts and fining upon bottling. You could call this a “natural” wine, but it shows familiar flavors of green apples, lemon pith, and chalky minerality.
