2011 was an unusual year in South Australia. The 2010 drought finally ended, leading into a cooler than average growing season. For Shiraz, slower development means deep, rich, concentrated flavors while still maintaining great balance and acidity. The aromas of cocoa, warm spice and dark fruit are very powerful from the first sniff. In the mouth, the wine is layered with rich blackberry, dark cherries and hints of dark, creamy chocolate ganache. The finish lingers on, hanging on your palette while the fruit and spice flavors slowly change and fade.

The 2013 Two Left Feet combines the best elements of Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon in a seamless blend. The Merlot has perfumed fruit while the Shiraz brings richness as well as depth and the Cabernet provides firm tannins and dark blackberry flavours. The combination creates great complexity but also great length, mocha and spice are the lasting flavours but each new taste shows more attractive fruit and delicious flavours.

Smooth as diving into the sea, this Australian merlot is a deep, brilliant red. Fleshy ripe strawberries and juicy blueberries entice the palate into a meandering river of black fruits and spice. The palate is soft and stylish with superbly ripe merlot fruit, leading to a long, sweet finish.

The PF Shiraz is made from grapes grown on our certified biodynamic single-estate vineyard, grown without herbicides, fungicides or synthetic chemicals. It is made without additions of any kind: sulphur (preservative), acid, tannin or finings. It’s a medium bodied, fresh, fruit driven wine that is delicious enjoyed as a young wine. With that in mind, we do have PF shiraz back to our first vintage of 2013 that is still showing some of lovely vibrant characters. No additives were used throughout entire production. Bottled after completing malolactic fermentation. No fining occurred, just filtration. Certified Organic/Biodynamic.

Layers is crafted to illustrate our belief that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. A blend of 5 white grape varieties picked from different vineyards throughout the Adelaide GI. These grapes combine together to create a white wine that is perfectly suited to a broad range of modern cuisines throughout the world. Semillon, Muscat, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay, each add character to the final blend. An attractive pale yellow with green tints, it has aromas of citrus, hints of peach and aromatic lifted spiciness. It has excellent structure and a soft creamy mouth-feel, delightful depth on the middle palate and finishes wonderfully fresh with a mouthful of crunchy fruit.
