Aragosta is a sparkling Brut wine obtained from local grapes selected and hand – picked into an old area of Santa Maria La Palma country and processed by Charmat method. This Brut represent for the company the relationship between old and young generation of farmers; a way to give continuity to the success of the most important Vermentino wine of Cellar “The Aragosta”.

“Here come the white wings”.This was the children’s cry as they watched the seagulls fly over the vineyard. Vermentino is the main white grape cultivated in Sardinia. It is presumed to have Spanish origins, but has found its ideal setting in the North of Sardinia, where it can fully express its particular characteristics.

Pala. Chiaro di Stelle Rosé IGT. Vinification "in pink” of the red grapes after a partial maceration for 12 hours, after which follows a light cleaning of the must.

Merì (meaning “sunset” in Sardinian dialect) is a highly aromatic Vermentino with heightened aromas, lower alcohol, and minimum sulphur. The wine shows an intense bouquet of white flowers, herbs, and citrus, with minerals and juicy acidity on the palate. Merì is a pure expression of place and varietal. Vermentino is an excellent aperitivo and its lemony acidity and herbal character is perfect for the Mediterranean table. Vermentino will accent langoustines or squid but carries enough weight to work with spaghetti topped with bottarga or a bowl of brothy clams and fregola. The herbal flavor of Vermentino can also highlight vegetables such as fava beans or fennel.

Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections, very bright. The nose has fragrant hints of green apple and banana, followed by a light floral jasmine, aromatic herbs and walnut husk, all under a mineral flint background. The gustatory attack is soft and dry, enveloping and warm in the alcoholic sensation, with a good taste balance between the mineral sapidity and the sweetness of the fruit, in a persistent finish of bitter almond.

Marked notes of small wood berries mix with hints of dark chocolate and tobacco. Balanced acidity leads to silky tannins.
