The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon is the inaugural Cabernet release from Five Rows. Aged entirely in French oak, it shows massively rich flavors of blackberries and cassis. The 2011 is the inaugural Merlot release from Five Rows. Aged entirely in French oak, it shows seductive flavors of plums, currants and sweet cherries. There’s a lot to like in this wine. The ripe, soft tannins and a touch of toasted oak complete the gentle finish.

Harvested from estate owned vineyards and from our long-standing growers within the Niagara Peninsula. Aged for 12 months in 60% American and 40% French oak barrels with full malolactic fermentation. A black garnet colour with an amazing bouquet of black currant, leather, black cherry, black olive, smoke, sweet oak and vanilla. Full-bodied and firm with rich, ripe black fruit flavours accented by notes of tea leaves and cocoa powder. Spiced blackberry, dark chocolate and cherry notes linger on the extra-dry finish. Fabulous with grilled medium rare red meats; beef tenderloin with roasted garlic mashed potatoes; roasted root vegetables; Avonlea Clothbound Cheddar from PEI; lamb chops; prime rib.

Launched in the 1970s, Baby Duck once dominated Ontario's burgeoning wine market. It still holds its own, with forward sweet fruit and lively bubbles. Enjoy aromas and flavours of sweet table grapes and ripe pear. Serve well-chilled with Asian cuisine, jerk chicken or smoky barbecue.

This medium-bodied and fruit forward Merlot showcases flavours of ripe red fruits, cedar and oak. The dry finish has lingering notes of red currant, pomegranate and spice. Aged for 12 months in 70% French oak and 30% American oak barrels with full malolactic fermentation. Pair with grilled medium-rare steaks, burgers topped with blue cheese, portobello mushroom stew, prime rib, beef tenderloin, or 2 year old cheddar.

Pale straw/yellow colour; floral, ripe peach, honey and lychee fruit aromas; off-dry, light to medium bodied, softly structured with balanced acidity, flavours of honeysuckle, rose water, pear, citrus and lychee; hints of spice on the finish.

In ancient Hebrew, Tzafona means northward, and true to its name it captures the cold and pure essence of Canada's flagship appellation, the Niagra peninsula. Tzafona's Vidal Icewine has intense aromas of honey, apricot, and peaches with a perfect balance of acidity and texture on the palate.

Forward fruit profile, including blackberry, plum and vanilla spice. The finish is long and soft with silky tannins. This wine pairs well with both parmesan and provolone cheeses. Also try it along with duck, a nice steak with caramelized onions or grilled Ahi tuna.

The 2011 is the inaugural Chardonnay release from Five Rows. This wine shows good acidity and provides a nice balance to the ripe pineapple, pear, and passion fruit flavors. Just a hint of vanilla spice oak ends in a finish that’s clean and pure.

We dedicate this delightful Rosé to Madame Andrée Bosc – wife, mother and winery matriarch. We wanted to make a wine with as much joie de vivre as Madame. The vibrant pink certainly makes a statement. We were able to extract this colour by using only fully ripe grapes and by allowing an overnight cold soak to bleed out the colour from the skins. This is the old school way to make a crisp, dry Rosé. On the nose the aromas will remind you of fresh strawberries and cranberries. On the palate it is fresh and lively.
