Cupcake®-Vineyards-Moscato-d’-Asti-White-Wine
Hailing from the hillside vineyards of Asti, Italy where the climate is ideal for fragrant and delicious Moscato grapes – this is one of the few wines that actually tastes like the grapes do in the vineyard. Once delivered, the grape clusters are gently pressed and the juice is clarified immediately to maintain the complex aromas. The wine is then cool fermented in stainless steel tanks to draw out its full flavor and expressive character. Cupcake Vineyards' Moscato d’Asti is a vibrant wine crafted with fine effervescence that tickles the palate, making any occasion worthy of a toast. Floral aromas and tropical fruit flavors of nectarine, peach and honey dance on the tongue and lead to a delightfully sweet finish. Enjoy with coconut pudding or a fresh fruit tart.

Ruffino-Moscato-D-Asti
Ruffino Moscato d'Asti Sparkling White Wine delivers hints of citrus fruit that give way to distinct notes of peach and orange blossoms. Flavors of sage and fresh white stone fruit linger on the palate, perfectly tempered by the freshness offered by the refined bubbles in this white moscato. Ruffino wine is made with high quality fruit sourced from vineyards in the Asti DOCG region in southern Piedmont. A traditional wine-making process combined with secondary fermentation produces a sparkling white wine that reveals itself without coaxing or manipulation. Moscato d'Asti's low alcohol content makes it a very versatile food companion. Pair this Italian white wine with fresh bread, salami, figs and melon or serve a glass with spicy Asian foods. This sparkling wine also tastes wonderful with almost any delectable dessert. Serve chilled for optimal taste. Please enjoy our wines responsibly. © 2020 Ruffino Import Company, Rutherford, CA USA

The grapes are selected from vineyards on the Vietti estate located in Castiglione Tinella. The vineyards are planted with 4.500 plants per hectare, which are almost 40 years old with yields of 65 hl/ha. Only the best Moscato grapes with extended maturation are used for the Cascinetta. The grapes are crushed, pressed and naturally clarified. Must is stored, without sulfite, at low temperature in order to naturally prevent fermentation. Before the bottling we add yeast and temperature is increased to 12°-14° C (53-57°F).

Bera-Moscato-D’Asti
Moscato d’Asti is picked later than Asti and captures more of Moscato’s hedonistic fruit and floral aromas. The wine is slightly sparkling (frizzante), lower in alcohol, and has a bit more sweetness than Asti. However, its sugar is well balanced by acidity thanks to Valter’s careful work in the vineyard and cellar.

Fontafreda-Briccotondo-Dolcetto
Since 1878, Fontanafredda, located in the heart of the Langhe region, has been a true institution in Piedmont, a benchmark for authentically-styled Barolo and Barbera wines thatdeftly balance intense aromas and deep concentration of fruit with outstanding finesse and elegance. This style is fully in line with chief winemaker Danilo Drocco’s philosophy that “Barolo should reveal itself little by little, rather than all at once.” The story of Fontanafredda is a noble one. It began in 1858, when Vittorio Emanuele II, the first king of Italy, purchased the estate (a former hunting preserve) in order to produce fine Barolo for his personal use. Today, Fontanafredda is the single largest contiguous estate in Piedmont with over 305 acres of land, including 210 acres of vineyards in the Serralunga, Barolo and Diano d’ Alba communes. Fontanafredda enjoys unrivalled access to many of Piedmont’s greatest vineyard sites. All estate vineyards are farmed without the use of chemicals. The Briccotondo line perfectly expresses the character of Piedmont's traditional grape varieties. Named for the rolling hills of Langhe and Monferrato (Bricco = Hill; Tondo = Round), these fresh and lively wines have a distinct roundness reminiscent of the land where their grapes are grown. Versatile and food-friendly, Briccotondo wines are great pairings with any meal.
