The Gush Etzion Spring River Rose is strawberry pink in color. A bouquet of freshly picked wild strawberries, and raspberries as well as pink grapefruit, with hints of fresh basil. Light to medium-bodied and very crisp, with tart raspberries, cherries and strawberries on the palate, followed by grapefruit and nice earthy minerals as well as lime. Vibrant acidity as well as a hint of intriguing but pleasant saline bitterness on the moderately long and refreshing finish. One of the best and most interesting rose wines out of Israel.

La Vie Rouge du Castel is a balanced fruity blend of the strains grown in the Judean Hills vineyards – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Syrah. Following fermentation, the wine is set to mature for about a year in custom concrete tanks, which help preserve its fresh fruity aroma during the cropping season. The wine is at its peak during the first three years following the harvest, and is best served chilled. All wines are kosher under Badatz Beit Yosef hechsher

It is a Bordeaux-style blend, combined of 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Petit Verdot and 33% Merlot, originating from the choicest vineyard sections surrounding the winery. The Gush Etzion Winery is located at the Gush Etzion Junction just south of Jerusalem, where climates and soils similar to both Bordeaux and Provence allow owners Shraga and Tamar Rosenberg to craft wines that are at once familiar and unique. The Lone Oak line comprises premium wines, symbolized by a single oak tree in the middle of the Etzion Bloc that early settlers would gaze at as they dreamed of a permanent return to the region. This high-altitude Cabernet Franc shows the promise this varietal has in Israeli's terroir, with aromas of ripe berry framed by white and black pepper and a hint of oak. The palate is firmly-structured, showing dark fruit, licorice and well-balanced acidity. A great match for braised poultry, roasted root vegetables or meatloaf.

The Or Haganuz Har Meron is a port style blend comprised of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Shiraz. Perfect for dessert, this wine is bold and offers a balanced sweetness. The fermentation under controlled cold temperatures allows for the extraction of rich fruit characteristics that are further developed during the 10 month outdoor oak aging process.

The grapes for this Cabernet were grown in the Ella Valley, where the sun shines all day and in the evening there is a cool breeze from the Jerusalem hills. The wine shows excellent fruit flavor balanced by well-integrated oak character; ready to drink upon release, it will certainly improve with some years' ageing.

Wine production process The Shiraz grapes arrived at the winery in the early morning after being mechanically harvested. The grapes were destemmed and after a gentle crush, the must was transferred with the skins and seeds into stainless steel tanks to begin fermentation. The fermentation lasted for 7 days, at a temperature of 25°C. Upon completion of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine was transferred to a storage tank and the skins were gently pressed into the same tank by a pneumatic press in order to begin the malolactic fermentation, which is intended to stabilize and soften the wine. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine was racked from its fine lees. The wine then matured with French and American oak wood for 3 months.
