This Sauvignon Blanc from our Horse Heaven Vineyard is a crisp, racy style of Sauvignon Blanc with citrus characteristics. We use partial stainless steel fermentation to preserve the Sauvignon Blanc’s pure, fresh, vibrant character.

A five varietal blend that packs a punch for the value, capturing the unique terroir of Destiny Ridge. It is loaded with aromatics of vanilla, dried herbs and, ripe with berry flavors, rich tannins, hints cedar and elegant oak-spice.

This lighter style Chardonnay is fresh and vibrant with bright apple and pear aromas coupled with a hint of coconut. Flavors of orchard fruits are accented by nuances of citrus and toasty oak, ending with a juicy, crisp finish. Intended for immediate enjoyment, this Chardonnay captures the varietal intensity indicative of wines from Washington State.

50% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, 10% Syrah, 10% Cinsaut. A classic Rhone-style blend with notes of cassis, black pepper, earth, and blueberries. Inspired by the cicadas of Provence, our Katydid is a jovial companion for any meal.

The Canoe Ridge Estate Chardonnay is refined and elegant and offers apple and citrus aromas with a clean, refreshing finish. We age the wine in lighter French oak barrels to maintain the fresh, elegant style of this Chardonnay.

Sourced from the hilly terrain of Washington, our Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon is dark ruby in color and spice driven in aroma with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. A soft entry onto the palate leads to rich black cherry, black currant and dark chocolate flavors. WINEMAKER NOTES A vintage considered to be the longest in Washington history, the 2016 growing season granted a record-breaking grape harvest. This extended season allowed grapes to ripen slowly, preserving the freshness and elegance in our finished Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon. After the grapes were harvested, sorted and fermented, the wine was then aged in a mixture of 20% new French, 20% new American and 60% neutral oak for 18 months. FOOD PAIRINGS This sultry Cabernet Sauvignon pairs nicely with rosemary braised lamb shanks, filet mignon with a rich balsamic glaze or gnocchi with a creamy garlic and gorgonzola sauce. SLO Jams opens with aromas of key lime and lemon grass followed by light and fresh flavors of cut pineapple, ripe oroblanco grapefruit and stone fruit. On the mid palate, hints of Kiwi and honey suckle blend seamlessly into the subtle mineral finish

With the goal of creating authentic estate-grown wines, Double Canyon was established in the heart of Horse Heaven Hills in 2007. Our focus is crafting wines that expresses the individuality of our namesake vineyard and captures the distinct character of Washington State’s best appellations. This wine comes entirely from our estate Double Canyon Vineyard and is crafted to showcase the best characteristics of our land. The property is planted primarily to Cabernet Sauvignon, but Double Canyon Vineyard also features two blocks of Petit Verdot, which total just over four acres. Dark, inky and unctuous, our Petit Verdot exudes a pronounced brambly character and notes of cassis, black cherries, earthy seasoned wood and fragrant baking spices. The palate has flesh and weight with bold, persistent flavors.
