“Fleurs de Prairie” translates as “wildflowers,” celebrating the beautiful fields of wisteria, lavender, poppy, and sunflowers carpeting Provence. The wine is sourced from select Provençal vineyards that dot the coastal wind-swept hillsides of the region. The Mediterranean combination of sun, wind, mild water stress, and ocean influence provide ideal conditions for grapes to ripen to the perfect balance of flavor and freshness. Provence produced beautiful 2016 rosés due to the year’s generally mild spring and sunny, dry summer. The continuing drought impacted yields across the board, but quality remained high.

In French, "Verite du Terroir" means Truth of Terroir. Grapes for this Cuvee have been carefully selected and picked by night to preserve their freshness . Blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Tibouren, typical Provencal grapes. Only the first juices called “Tete de Cuvee” are kept after pressing. Fermentation occurs at a cool temperature in order to capture the best aromas. On the eye : bright, light pink with a nice brilliance. On the nose: ample with intense berry and pink grapefruit aromas. Palate: refreshing mouth, dominant notes of raspberry and redcurrant underscored by the freshness of citrus. Great balance and harmony between fruit aromas and acidity.

With a beautiful translucent pink hue, VieVité exudes the colors of a true Côtes de Provence rosé wine. Thanks to night harvesting, the cuvee benefits from several hours of low temperature skin-contact maceration. The different grape varietals are vinified separately with temperature controlled at 60 degrees F following cold settling. Malolactic fermentation is stopped in order to make the final blend, all the varietals are tasted to arrive at their best possible result. The wine is then filtered and bottled. Combining age old regional winemaking traditions and modern technology, this typically provincial wine, which is both light and fruity, pairs wonderfully with Mediterranean cuisine, summer food, or as an aperitif.
