Made from grapes commonly grown in the Gasgogne region of Southwest Franc which include 45% Ugni Blanc, 35% Colombard, 10% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Gros Manseng. These grapes all make this a bright, crisp wine with a touch of aromatic intensity and salty minerality.
About the Brand:
Domaine Tariquet was founded in 1912 in Côtes de Gasgogne in the Southwest of France. The domaine was famous for their Armagnacs, still produced today. In the 1980s, the heirs to the estate broke all the rules, producing still wines, from little known grapes like Ugni Blanc and Colombard, later planting Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and others. They master every step of production preserving the wine’s freshness and bright aromatics.
